they're weaned at 3 weeks of age.. dont clean the cage/touch the mum & pups till they're 2 weeks old..

if no choice, then buy the hamsters toilet sand lah.. at least it's better than buying cheap but unsafe cat litter..

mealworms can escape from bowls that have rough texture.. i've seen mealworms climbing up ceramic bowls with rough texture and also cardboard boxes.. there was once when a mealworm escaped when i feed my hamsters in a box..

not BC lah.. BC we normally use for hamster's bedding, not toilet sand.. it's those that look like big sand particles, but with cement smell.. hamsters toilet sand should be easy to find ar..

temp breeding = temperament breeding..

not sure if u should use beach sand.. if it's untreated, it contain a lot of bacteria & other microorganisms that could cause health hazards to ur hamsters.. stick to cat litter/hamster litter.. better safe than sorry

if someone tries to catch u, will u be defensive? make ur hand as inviting as possible, for eg. place some food on ur hands while u lure them.. and dont make too sudden movements, as they will surely be scared..

seems to be a male.. so u've got 2 males? be careful for any fights among them ya..

maybe they dont know that hamsters are solitary? coz only few hamsters fight, not all hamsters fight all the time.. so maybe they think that only some hamsters very notti, always fight.. i always hear ppl say that the hamsters tat fight are very notti & bad.. but what they dont know is, it has nothing to do with their personality.. it's instinct..

tat means the aunty seldom handle the hamster la.. wanna check gender also kena bitten, means the hamster got minimal contact with humans, or got bad experience with humans before.. sigh..

winter white, when kept in captivity, are territorial.. they cannot tolerate having another similar sex hamster with them.. if u want to keep in pairs, go for other species of hamsters eg. roborovski or russian campbells.. but russian campbells do have their occasional fights too..

last time i got a litter of 7 RC hamsters.. all very tame except 1.. i considered quite good dy lor, cos they're bitey in nature.. but those 6 never bite at all.. they also got glossier fur than WW.. very nice to touch.. too bad all rehome dy..

get Vitakraft then.. Delikate is worse than Habitrai.. see behind the pack & compare their nutritional values then u know ady.. but still, Vitakraft better..

also, wood shavings doesnt necessarily mean without pine/cedar.. but Sluis is not pine nor cedar, just that it's very dusty.. if got Chipsi Classic/Super, get those better..

1. no need that much.. for wood shavings, it's better to put at least half an inch thick, cos they like to dig.. but for Breeder Celect, just put enough to cover the tank floor.. if not satisfied, mix with wood shavings so that the ground is not so hard..

2. make sure his urine is also in the toilet bowl.. it's highly unlikely that hamsters will sleep on their urine.. also, u can put hay/tissue in the home so that he can make nest with it.. give it a try, there's no guarantee..

3. hamsters like to dig ever since they're still babies.. it's normal.. since he likes to dig so much, give him some wood shavings to dig (it's easier to dig wood shavings than Breecer Celect)

4. try holding it using a forcep(or finger if u dare) in front of his face.. if he still doesnt eat, try crush the mealworm's head till the juice come out, then let ur hamster smell it.. if he still doesnt eat, leave the dead mealworm in the tank for some time, but not too long..
