Hmmm... When Roche bit me it took quite a while to heal cuz the wound was small but deep. Ferro also, I accidentally touch him when he sleeping, he turn around wanna bite me. sweat.gif Luckily hit a nail. But persistance is the key.

My hamster had an abscess in his mouth. Took the poor little fella to the vet yesterday and the vet took out the lump and cleaned the pus out and everything, but now my hamster won't eat anything. sad.gif I have vitamin drops with some antibiotics mixed in it for him, but he snubbed the crushed pellets and the minced vegetables I made for him last night. He ate a very little bit of bread. I gave him some vegetable juice the night before but I don't want to overdo it in case he gets wet tail.

Does anyone know of a liquid or semi-liquid food I can feed him using a syringe? And can I give him a little bit of the lactose-free Pet's Milk? I'm so worried he'll starve.

Thanks for any help in advance. smile.gif

That's Pets Family. There have lots of syrians. Sometimes they have rare color syrians but need to look carefully. Last time we was there, there were 3 big tanks filled with syrians.

But do note that their syrians might not be as tamed as those in Pet Shack or from Nezu. tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif

the only thing we can do it. STOP buying pets from there, STOP buy ANY STUFF from them. i personally wouldn't buy ANYTHING from from animals to food, to accessories from a petshop if they don't treat their animal well, no matter how cheap their things are.

"Corn Cob is ok. Just noisy when a hamster digs stuff. Yesterday's News? Do we have it here? I normally use Breeder Celect or Healthy Pet."

I think I saw a bag or two in Ikea, donno if they still have it.

Sigh, my robo is very scared of me...I try to help it bathe in sand by sprinkling over it, and sometimes just a pour. Now don't want to take food out of my hand also sad.gif

Oh well as long she's happy. It's bad enough she fought with her mother before I took her in.

My first hamster was a syrian, nobody educated us that she cnanot live on sunflower seeds and carrots. One day ate something wrong under the kitchen and kaput. So so very sad sad.gif

This time after the robo dies of a ripe old age, I'm going to get a syrian from Nezu or pet shack smile.gif

Thanks for the people who gave me advice earlier on. I just bought bathing sand for the 2 fellas, they jumped happily into the toilet, and started to feast on the sand... O_O!!!!! I nearly threw them out of the sandbox lol when i was in a rush to get the sandbox out from the cage XD *nearly, in case anyone tries to sue me for critter abuse =P*

So now i have decided- get a bigger cage...lol cos i removed their food box to put in the sandbox, so i guess i got them mixed up, its strawberry flavour summore >.<

Yes.. What the owner said is correct. Syrian does not suitable to be housed in those nice nice cage like Critter Trail or Habitrail Safari. I'm thinking to change mine to fish tank as well. Small cage can affect the size of a Syrian when it is still in growing stage. Mine did. My girl was in the same batch as nezu's Brownie & what nezu told me that last time Brownie was smaller than Creamy. But now Brownie is a lot bigger than Creamy. So please do get those fish tank type if you decide to get a Syrian. smile.gif

Wired type also can as long it is big enough for the Syrian. Most of the wired type big cage does not look nice either compare to those Critter or Habitrail brand. Plus if the Syrian is from nezu or petshack.. Hahahaha... You should know the size of it. tongue.gif
