i feed mine one by one... they will eat them as soon as i give them the mealworm....

but now i stop giving mealworm adi.... after a week of feeding, they turned aggressive... sweat.gif

jz put in there lo... i had 2 separate litter bowl and sand bathing bowl for my hammies.... litter bowl is filled with beach sand while bathing sand bowl using normal "apple smell" bathing sand bought from jusco... sweat.gif

yea, fortunately they didnt pee inside da bathing sand bowl... only pee inside the litter bowl... one hammy occasionally sleeps inside the bathing sand bowl (because its cooling during day time).... sweat.gif

once my hamster pees inside the beach sand, they dont roll on it... they jz roll on it when its new...
hence, each time i change the sand, i'll leave some old soaked sand with pee inside... jz a reminder for them that its a toilet... laugh.gif

some hamster eat... some doesnt... last time my syrians dont take meal worms... but my current ww, attack and eat them ferociously the first time i feed them... sweat.gif sweat.gif

my ex housemate even gave a cockroach to his hamster to eat.... doh.gif

go wash ur hand.... den lower ur hand into the cage.... let them smell ur finger.... if u afraid, back off if they start touching u or tries to attack ur hand.... jz let them smell ur hand for a few days.... get them used to ur smell around the cage.... when u confident enough they aint attacking u when u lower ur hand into the cage, try scoop them up with both hands... place them on ur palm... do not squeeze or hold them tight.... do this as often as possible for a few days.... jz repeat the routine again n again as much times as u can... most important part is let them remember ur scent and let them know ur scent aint a harm for them... soon, they'll start accepting u...

i bought my ww from petshop.... both previously vr offensive when i first bought them... i took about 1 week or less to tame them... none of them ever bitten me till bleed yet.... nibble abit got la, when they aint happy when i pick them up... hahaha.... tongue.gif tongue.gif

when the female give birth, u separate the father lor... but in some cases, especially robos, the daddy would help n take care of the babies as well...
last time when my syrian hamster gave birth, the dad helped to take care of the babies... somehow a few days later i separated them because the father was too clumsy, alwiz disturb the female and make her angry... laugh.gif laugh.gif

winter white... dont know what weight body wor... feed with normal hamster mix food lor....
but he seems normal and active during the night.... day time as usual, sleep like pig...
his body dont have any obvious buldge like tumor....
his muscles kinda stiff though....
eyes seems normal... no wet tail... no wet nose....
eating, peeing, pooing all vr normal....

is he building muscle to impress the female??... unsure.gif
