QUOTE(blurjoey @ Jul 1 2008, 11:27 PM) Yes that's BC. It's cats litter. But petshack only have the 6L pack 6L is too little. Get the biggest pack (35L) which can last about 2-3+ months and more economical. The big pack cost about RM90-100. And RM90-100 is too much for me since im still a student... Couldn't afford that much QUOTE(nezumitaro @ Jul 1 2008, 11:33 PM) No stock ar ? Haiz... Have to temporarily use the pine bedding first until there's stock for Delikate... |

QUOTE(sOuLx @ Jul 2 2008, 08:13 PM) waa.. your hammy got BC. mikelim2020 taught me that BC only needed to be changed once every 3 weeks, and 6L BC is probably going to last more than 2 months, for me.sigh, still cant afford to change the bedding to BC. still using wood shaving and corn cob. So it's RM22 for every 2 months, i guess i still can afford that because my hammie use a compartment as her toilet, not pee everywhere inside the cage, just poo everywhere only My wood shavings started to become smelly after 1 week. I guess i still put wood shavings at the place where she pee, then at the main cage i will put BC lah... |

That guy is a total arsehole.
But what can we do, it's better that there are buyer who are good enough to buy from him in order to save those hammie, i mean like not buying in pair or more, we can somehow PM those interested buyer and advise them don't buy in pair or more if they only have 1 cage for the hammie. If we go flame his thread and none of the hamster are sold, all the hammie will stay in the very same cage for the rest of their life and they will fight to death, so if there is a buyer, at least 1 life could be saved right ? Let's pray for the hamsters and curse that seriously uneducated dumb seller ! I hope he see what we are typing here... Cheers. |

Sacrificing those 10 hamsters ain't gonna be the only option right... Hope that he somehow get his leg patah in an accident or what and never breed hamster again. May God blast him. |

Once infested with mite, it's a very hard time for you and your hamster, you will have to bring your hammie to the vet for cure since there is no any mite propellant for hamster in the market i guess... Correct me if i'm wrong

C'mon, don't try to turn your statement upside down here, what you said is already done and you can't change any of it. Muka so tebal meh ? Just admit lah... It's scientifically & practically proven that they can't live in group, even they live in group, they will get stressed, you don't know if they are stressed with your very own eyes, their heart rate increase when they are stressed, it's the same when they are not used to being handled by us, their heart rate increase when we scoop them up with our hand (hammie which is not tame) But sometimes, "one in a million" this phrase is true, same with the video of a Japanese's snake who can live with a hamster (WW) at YOUTUBE. You don't tell others you're so damn lucky to have a bunch of Syrian that are sociable right ? So wake up my friend. This post has been edited by UNDERGROUND: Jul 5 2008, 09:37 PM |

I got a Q here, how often do you guys change the water in the water bottle ?
On a daily basis ? Since it's in a bottle, it won't get infected with bacteria or whatsoever so fast if compared to water dish right ? |

There's 1 fella in Garage Sales is selling, but the last reply was 11 days ago, i wonder if it's still available...
I guess it's good for me to play with my hammie without worrying that she will escape somewhere i can't find her. |

QUOTE(kmao @ Jul 6 2008, 09:06 PM) Alright... Any tricks to teach the hammie to consume mealies? That one ar, is like corn, carrot and green pea inside ?Oh ya, to share my experience here, hammies happen to consume packaged mixed-vegies. I thought of this idea to feed my robos mixed-vegies (or what-ever so-called) when I was going to add it into my fried rice. Well, they don't eat at the first, but they clean it all when I get back to them. =.= QUOTE(neshie @ Jul 6 2008, 09:20 PM) Erm, working lah. Doesn't smell that much. But my syrian's pee still...... Sold to her hior... No wonder so happy lah... sold to you mah.. __________________________________ I think i do have a plastic guppy tank left at my grandmothers home in klang, but not sure 2ft or 1.5ft lah, and it's already more than 5yrs old. Should i just get a new one or? 5 years ? Get new 1 la, i guess it will be scratchy... |
