the moment i came home, my WW looks excited to hear me. Poor baby must hv been neglected when I was away. No one wants to play with it coz it bit my sister before. They do feed it when the food runs out tho

Added on July 12, 2008, 1:54 ambtw is a 5" wheel suitable for a ww?

yay... bought new ww adi.... at first wanted a pure white one... but that one seems to be hyperactive and couldnt standstill... so, i bought this one... reasonably tame when i first approached her.... will sit still if u put her on the palm.... most important, looks chubby enough... rclxms.gif

made some changes to the cage as well.... hope this can provide better air circulation into it so they wont get too hot during afternoon...

I used dried corn cob as a chewtoy.

There are some corn leftover on it just to entice her into chewing it but...she's eating all the corn too!

Ok ka? I scared get this and that defiiency sad.gif

It's a WW hamster by the way

I sometimes give my ww corn also. but not too much la. and I always take it out if its uneaten coz dont want the ants to come

im very worried about giving fresh food coz it attract ants la. My ww only nibbles a bit then just leaves it hidden under the bedding.

should i only feed it fresh food in another cage?

The hamster toilet sand that PetShack is selling is non-clumping ar ?

Seems like nonono is selling cheaper, and no need use my mum's credit card doh.gif
*
only cat litter has clumping & non clumping. With proper hamster sand there's only the non clumping. I think.

hmm.gif Your WW isn't into vege? You do feed it smoothie right? My hamsters all know how to eat vege already after 1 week of feeding smoothie. Short cut.

You can try feeding in another cage lor. Or watch your WW if it eats lor. Otherwise you have to dig around the shavings for leftover food.
*
basically it gets bored easily. LOL! Can't give it big amounts, must give small small amounts. Usually I just watch it then when it drops the vege/fruit, i pick it up and throw it away.

I shredded some tissue and stuffed it into the cup loosely. Now it doesnt squeeze itself between the tank and the 'bathroom' but sleeps in the cup. Probably felt too exposed earlier
