hey ppl!! start to train ur hammi on syringe feed neh.. we do a syringe feed comp next time in Yippee-Event.. lol...

actually syringe feed benefit the animal, as long as they get use n like it. that we can make sure they take all the supplement. also if 1 day they are sick, they will auto eat with the syringe without stress.

i am training my hammi now. hehe.
but my syringe have short end, so they kinda lick it

so cute n chubby....

just jap out for them can? mine also short head one.. hehhee..

once they get use they will be happy with the syringe. when they sick, syringe will not bring more stress for them..

brownie once see syringe she will come forward hahhaha..

I miss JackJack and Kiko when I look at Creamy girl. Just so adorable. But I think she might new a bigger house...

Depends on the seller i guess, it's more expensive from the breeder but they're tamed, not like pet shop, not tame.
Shop maybe like less than RM10 i guess, breeder will be more than that.

not all petshop though.. i can say pet shack is more better than alot breeders here..

All my mealies were dead, my mum water her plants and accidentally soak the mealies, banjir inside the container and all went to heaven...

All pet shops have mostly Syrians and WW (Winter White). FYI, the price of the hamsters are cheap but the price for the accessories is expensive. You can actually get everything from Pet Shack. Better get from a breeder rather than from pet shops as the hamsters from pet shops are mostly not tame and will bite. WW and Syrian also can keep only 1 in a tank. Advise you not to buy those fancy cages but go for a 2ft tank (for Syrian) or 1.5ft tank (for WW). Give them good wheel and space with good food. That's the most important thing. All the best to you of getting your hamster.

Added on July 22, 2008, 6:01 pmHey, does your hammie start eating mealies? Mine still not eating any, even I leave the mealie in another bowl for days. Well, I didn't leave the staple food bowl empty because I don't have time to really keep my eyes on it for few hours. Sigh.

I even tried beheaded the mealies head and leave it in the bowl. Didn't work as well.

Help..

I think you should put in a kinda tall bowl and let the hamster get used to it gua, that's what i did...
Let it starve lah, they wont die even without food for just 1 day i think...

My RM 1 mealies finally finished by Ferro and Roche last week. RM 1 can tahan 2 syrians 1 and teh half month. Walau. Some change to beetle already.

some hamster eat... some doesnt... last time my syrians dont take meal worms... but my current ww, attack and eat them ferociously the first time i feed them...

my ex housemate even gave a cockroach to his hamster to eat....
