Better take out the wheel then your syrian got no choice to sleep in the house 

Actually I've given up trying to get my hamster to sleep in the house that I bought. I have tried living world dome and cheese house. At last what he preferred is to dig himself into some hay that I put and sleep. I guess they have their own preference so I just let him be. He also love to put the hay into the bowl that I use to put smootie in. Well, they are their own interior designer so might as well let them be.

hamsters are not vegetarian.. they do eat insects in the wild.. but we of cos shouldnt simply feed any insects la.. we feed watever that is good for them.. mealies are good cos high in protein.. the downside to it is that it contains a lot of fat too.. so, moderate feeding is enough..

Ryo, for adult WW, 5 mealies per day is enough.. but since urs is super worm, try to limit the number to 1 or 2 per day..

actually, super worm & mealies look exactly the same, except for the size.. i dont know how to differentiate between baby super worm & adult mealworm..    bagi makan saja 

Hahhaa... I fork out money from my pocket to make them healthy and chubby. So they can help by giving me results ma. BTW I'm still having probs with Ferro's fur matt. I missed out 1 area of his fur last night and today got new matt. Sigh...

guys.. wanna ask. i have a female syrian hamster. she was very very tame n playful since i 1st bought her. i can handle her easily n she never bite. but last week i find my male hamster mating with her. and since yesterday she bcame like..... very cautious and very scared.

she doesnt come to my hand anymore whn i want to touch her. she will run away instead. and she doesnt come out often. she just stay in the tube and the male hamster will bring and stock food in the tube.

so.. is it bcoz she is pregnant tht she dnt like to be handled anymore? will she bcome agressive and bite when she is pregnant? will this continue after she give birth and even after her babies fuly grown up?

i am afraid i wont get to play wif her anymore even after her babies grow up.... T^T

will they get cautious of human (their owner)whn pregnant?
