Cepat2 use bagi dia habis lah My hammie still sleeping Oh ya, i have confirm that my hammie is a female, again =_=" Saw nipples and no testicles... LOL ! Added on July 27, 2008, 11:35 pmSorry sorry, saw the wrong info... It should be KAYCOB that is attracting mites, not corn cob as mentioned Reanne, her bedding review. Anyway, any of you put your bedding into the freezer overnight before using it ? This post has been edited by UNDERGROUND: Jul 27 2008, 11:35 PM |

QUOTE(Sophiera @ Jul 28 2008, 08:08 PM) I see...QUOTE(crazymouse_yyh @ Jul 28 2008, 08:12 PM) Guppy tank, biggest is 2 feet lah.... If want bigger, then maybe you need to custom make one or get a glass tank. My dad got some leftover fish tank, the glass type, 1 ft x 3 ft, i was thinking of using it before, but it is troublesome to wash the tank and also susah to change the bedding...Anyway, what Sophiera is doing is good for the environment. Recycling hahah. Good job! Anyway, I also did sprouted corn sprouts, sunflower sprouts and wheat sprouts for my hamsters before. I left some old bedding in a container under the rain for a few days and many little sprouts came out. Hamsters love it. These are good treats, rich in minerals too. The cat would be easier to sapu my hamster too... Your hamster ate those sprouts ? |

QUOTE(Jamien @ Jul 29 2008, 03:00 PM) In the earlier thread, my robos ran away before and found back a few days later wandering near the tank. None of them left the house even when the 2 large doors in my living room were wide open. Tina also found her runaway hamster after 2 days mar. Just place a small box with shavings and food in a corner where you think it'll most likely go and check it once in a while if the hamster ran in. But he said if the hamster appear he will get another cage for it since he can't live without hamster QUOTE(Criollo @ Jul 29 2008, 03:04 PM) I've been in alot of petshops in Penang but i have yet to find a sable banded syrian. All i see are those gold ones. I see, VIPERS PET at Tanjung Tokong, is it a big pet shop ?Anyway i read somewhere...that to attract a runaway hamster you can take a tall tupperware (taller than your hamster la) place a cushion below and its favourite food, place a ladder leading up to the tupperware and set it in a corner Apparently hamsters will smell the food and fall into the tupperware container (hence the cushion). Good luck to your friend ! I remember last last last time, 5 / 6 year ago i saw pet shop showcasing their pets outside Gurney Plaza, is that VIPERS PET ? CTY didn't sell syrian right ? |

QUOTE(Criollo @ Jul 29 2008, 03:16 PM) Haven't heard of VIPERS before, so i can't help you with that lol Ohh... CTY do have syrians, you can check em out, but i didn't see any sables. (btw their hamsters are like........immobile statues =.=) My friend told me Toby only sells WW, but maybe that time he went there sudah habis stock Added on July 29, 2008, 3:43 pm QUOTE(blurjoey @ Jul 29 2008, 03:28 PM) Me and sangels bought our solid sable from Chew Thean Yeang Aquarium (CTY Aquarium) earlier this year when we went to Penang for holiday. We also bought solid cream and solid golden from the same place. I see, no offence but won't the solid sable looks a bit like longkang tikus ar ? Now we only left the solid cream as the solid golden died due to wet tail and the solid sable escaped from his 2 feet tank. One good thing about CTY is that they feed fresh veges to their small animals. We saw in 3 days they were feeding them fresh veges in the evening.
