wat do u guys think bout the bottleneck issue for my proc running at 3.2GHz? is it high or low? do quad core gives lower bottleneck even at lower clockspeed as my current now?
opinions? p.s - stop poisoning me! |

Added on June 27, 2008, 10:04 pm QUOTE(iostream @ Jun 27 2008, 10:01 PM) the architecture and clock speed. architecture is a general thing to know but the clock speed for 4850 is actually lower than 3870, no?bek to the old times where amd athlon + ddr1 is better than p4 + ddr2. QUOTE(cstkl1 @ Jun 27 2008, 10:07 PM) if u want to take out ure cpu as a limiting factor u have to look at delivery ic, instead of worrying too much on proc bottlenecking the gpu i should higher up the settings on memory/ram... between the mem controller and gpu and it has to be on a more steneous gaming requirement hence clock mem more + game at higher reso.. or more aa/AF... so meaning minimizing the bottleneck.... but still i see that many of u guys r quite happy bout the performance of 4850 compare to 3870, is it rly that good? in terms of gaming of course. ok, thx bro for the explanation |
