Just got today and play around a bit..
default temp 29% fan speed temp idle = 81 deg  sweat.gif

adjust fan speed 60% using guru3d guide temp idle= 50-55 deg  drool.gif

no need use 3rd party cooler...now waiting bro leh teck send tx2 then apply ..maybe will get lower.

I think you adjust to 50% enough already, because over than 50% fan speed to noisy... sweat.gif

would be better. IMO..
cause stock 4870 fan running at 20%
temp go from 80c - 88c.... much hotter..

I don't know why, maybe AMD's Graphic engineer idiot setting the fan speed 20 ~ 30% only at BIOS... rclxub.gif

Just 2 weeks ago, I already tested with this extreme platform at my office.

Processor: Intel C2D E8400
Mainboard: Gigabyte X48-DQ6
GPU: Gigabyte ATI HD4850 512MB DDR3 * 2 (Crossfire)
RAM: Corsair 2GB *2 DDR2 800 XMS
HDD: Western Digital WD5000AAKS
PSU: Acbel R8 800watt

Here the result, only 'play' this platform without 2 hours, just a simple test. All the parts is belong my customer, I just order & assemble the system to him. In the 'limited time' for 4 hours to setup.

Because I have no time to update my software version, I still using GPU-Z 0.21, some of the GPU information detection from GPU-Z 0.21 software was wrong.

Below the test, all running under default clock. because I no enough time to do overclocking tweaks. doh.gif

*****All the 3D Mark test running on 1440*900 with No AA, and start with string "-nosysteminfo"*****
