aiseh , it s only for degree and diploma holders , and the main obstacle is the parent's income must be below rm1.5 k . I bet anyone that can reply to thread here owns a pc , and at least would have parents with more than rm1.5k earnings .

when they announce this scheme, they only say that we must be anak selangor and must be entering Uni only . felt like kena con

if u're a selangorian or at least one of ur parents are, go look for similar "gifts" or "awards", either from the state government or state foundations like yayasan selangor. selangor is one of the most generous state in awarding its citizens lotsa weird stuffs in education since the 70s.

i've received quite a number of stuffs from various bodies for various reasons, including getting below 15 aggregate in SPM (not a big deal, but got RM100) or graduating with 2nd class upper for my degree (got RM300). it's not much, but if u're excellent, the award is bigger and better. my brothers got more coz they were involved in sports. one represented selangor under-18 golf, and the other represented selangor in sailing.

how did we get all these? thanks to our dad, who works to find all these stuffs for us via newspapers, publications and contacts.
