nod.gif  When I was at Japan , It never felt safer than anywhere else...

Even when I was at yokohama where the streets is controlled by yakuza's also I feel safe  laugh.gif
And both my neighbours were robbed in Japan, luckily I was at home at the time... so my house was spared

Hmm, the scale seems to be different though. The unpainted in my link is 1/3, while th above is 1/5
There are 2 versions 1/3 and 1/5(but more like 1/6) with similiar pose. 1/3 version has bare feet, fully sculpted legs (so u can pose her without the skirt), but with an awkwardly sculpted/odd shape body(some people coin it as alien). 1/5 version have sandal feet, feet and skirt are one piece (so no exposed legs), nice body sculpt... but a bit small for a 1/5 scale

E2046 re-produce both versions painted with their gathering line...

unlike PVC which is flexible, cold cast are like resin, its hard and brittle laugh.gif
so shipping with free is scary sad.gif after pecah

not sure if there's a diff between cold cast, resin and polystone, anyone can enlighten? biggrin.gif
Cold cast is a method in which Polystone, a type of resin with quality of porcelain is used. No flexing is allowed. Hard/silica like meterial is added to make it like porceline

Resin is plastic (2 liquid chemical components mixing producing reaction and heat) that allow some flexing, would be resistant to Pos Malaysia handling... you can use some heating to bend and reform the plastic... The polymer is similiar to plastic begs.. cannot recall the proper chemical structure/name..

shakehead.gif  don't put too much hope on him as he is now busy with his work and preparing to ship back his things back from japan which gonna cost rm5000-10000,

He's just a regular salaryman there  tongue.gif
20ft and 40ft container is very cheap to Port Kelang(RM4k to RM6k respectively)... provided that you are near the major shipping ports..like Osaka, Tokyo, Kita-kyushu or Fukuoka... you may need to spend (RM800 to 2k) to a Forwarder company to handle the container at port Kelang.

p.s. you brother should move a high-end car back as well if he qualifies for an AP (will be taxed according to age) and all manner of electronic goodies.. like LCD TVs which only half the price in Malaysia but higher spec (local Jap market get the best tech advancement) but u will need 240 to 120v converters. I could have brought in more had I know that I will escape from tax. The requirement was 3months of ownership... but brand new will pass right through too ... I think...

Actually, I've already changed it to damaged version a few weeks ago, when the left foot peg broke, and put it on the glass shelf. The right foot's peg broke off when it's in damaged ver. clothing D:
use a hand drill with a drill bit of a smaller diameter to drill out the peg stuck in her foot. Drill holes to where the pegs were... embed aluminium /copper/or steel rods of similiar size to the holes on her foot to the base... add thick (3 mm at least) aluminium backing to the base if plastic layer of the base is too thin.

Awww. I like that pose and design of Kanu since the first time i saw the resin of it in e2046.
In e2046, the resin did appeared, in a particular resin painting contest and if i am not mistaken, it was a 1/3 scaled version. Imagine that, 1/3 scaled.  shocking.gif
The 1/3 scale (more like 1/3.5, as kanu is not that short) is from a different sculptor with a similiar pose.

The original resin kit is non cast-off and is listed by e2046 as 1/5 scale when it should be 1/6. Daiki improved on the original kit (maybe with the help of the original sculptor) with a unwrapped breasts/chest swaping alternative and a cast off skirt (most likely).

stayed 4 years in Japan... cheapest air ticket is by Cathay Pacific.. to/from Sabah ... 2 ways about RM1.6 to 1.7k before fuel/airport tax increase..

get the Japan Rail Pass ... if you intend to travel cheaply, by bullet train/ordinary train.. about RM900 for 7 days (14/21 days too)... unlimited all over Japan from Hokaido to Kyushu/Shikoku... if not the train/plane fees will be murder your wallet

wow RM900 for train only, looks like we need quite a big budget to go japan especially if wana buy stuff as well
Trains/subway are quite cheap/resonable.. for local area/short distance/same prefacture... However it will be prohibitively expensive if you cross to another prefacture... even by car/bus/bike, they charge fees like toll.. have not tried walking/cycling over

Say from Tokyo to Kyoto... one round trip alone would/could cost RM900...

How does XL-shop ship their preordered figs by the way? I already paid in full for 3 figures back in February, and one of them is coming out in another few days (that Megahouse Queen's Gate Alice fig). Would they ship it one by one as soon as they arrive, or would they hold it all, till the last figure I preordered arrives, before shipping?
Many times I had to remind them (xl sales/customer) by e-mail, then they send what that have already arrived while other things from the same pre-order have not arrived yet...
