I didn't know what Stop-loss means until I've watch the movie. It was a good movie reflectin' the lives of the US Army soldiers who have to go back to war although they should be gettin' out. It shows the face of war from a soldier point of view where he did the best of his service for the army yet he had to experience extension for his service. Ryan Phillippe did a very good job in this movie. Its been long since I last seen him in a movie and this one just make him good. Channing Tatum in the other is not very suitable as a soldier. He's still brings his hip hop style in his actin although this movie does not involve any hip hop matter. And for Sgt Shriever (Channing Tatum), a guy from Texas, he doesn't seem to have any of the accent.

The movie flows with a few war scene at the beginning with tunes from MTV of course. The story starts when the guys came back to Brazos hopin' to get out of service only to know the President had given an authority to ship'em back to Iraq. The story then focuses on S.Sgt King (Phillippe) in his way fighting his right to stay back home rather than being shipped back to Iraq. All in all I love the movie and I'd say it gives a good impression on how some people perspectives on the War on Terror started by the US government.
