The latest rumour in the soon to be released issue of EGM (August 08) speculates that Microsoft is set to announce a huge price cut on Xbox 360 SKU's this fall.

Could this be the final nail on the PS3's coffin when Sony just announced that the Playstation 3 has so far cause SONY to lose $3 billion. Can Sony afford another price cut just to play catch up with Microsoft. That will sure put another big hole in Sony's bank account.

We're discussing about this $3 bil lost in the Playstation forum. The general consensus is that Sony doesnt mind at all since, they've already won the format war. And frankly, xbox360 will have to use the blueray sooner or later. DVDs are so... 90's

Who cares whether 360 gets a price cut or not, it is still using DVD anyway that has a maximum capacity of only 8GB T_T

Any news that is positive for the 360 he will post here and any news that is negative for the PS3 he will post here but not the other way round

X360 reducing price is a bad news ler. Many more ppl will get con buying a defective console T_T sad..
