very nervous bout the results too. i don't think i deserve to fail, but the fact that there's alway a possibility scares me.

bout the icaew thing, i got the offer to go for the interview and i straight away rejected:P i regretted not going to the interview, could've learned a lot eventhough i'm not gonna take it.....yet. my friend did take the offer, and he's working all week. during weekends, i can see him studying in sunway. poor fella. but i have the utmost faith that he is capable of going through with it.

i passed my f4,5 and 6

f4-72
f5-71
f5-65

i'm kinda dissapointed with my f6 though. i should've done better. i was really working hard to score that one but once i finished my exam, i was saying that i would be glad if i past 60. i guess i got what i deserved.

by the way, p6 takers, do u guys read ur f6 notes and refresh ur taxation knowledge from time to time? i wanna take p6 but i'm scared that once i get that high, i'd forget my basic computation-_-

I was under Akbar before, and nope, he isnt new to F5, he is a damn good lecturer, he teach without referring to anything

nice audit marks there. i'm quite envious.

i'm taking f8 this sem and frankly speaking, i'm very nervous. in my t8, i can't seem to get the marks i needed. though i passed on the first try(albeit not a very satisfying result) i'm still worried bout my f8. i can understand what my lecturer is teaching and all. i do all the exercises and past yr paper. but come the test or exam, i never seem to get marks for questions that i'm sure of the answer. is there a technique to writing in audit?

anyone here studied at london b4? LCA to be precise. i'm contemplating whether i should do my final part there or here in sunway. i just want to gain the experience of being in a foreign country. currently, i am very intrinsic and hopefully i can get to be more socially active and charismatic.

just share ur opinion about going abroad. yay or nay

thanks for the advice. that really enlightened me a lot. i do prefer studying here and being close to home. but that's just the thing, i am being served with everything on a silver platter. i know that if i go somewhere far and foreign, i'd gain a lot of experience. i think i'll learn a bit more about being independent.

though i'd have to admit that i am too used to being spoonfed. however, i think i am capable of handling myself considering that my last lecturer, voon sia didn't really helped much with f5 but i still passed with a 71. i guess i need to start working harder. being away from home also means being away from ps3's and daily movies with friends. i guess it somehow forces me to work harder

i am worried about working though. i doubt that i'll get a decent employment in UK as there are a lot more ACCA graduates there compared to here. the pay might be better but i think the experience that u gain will be minimal since u're just gonna get to work with small audit firms. i will ether continue with my MBA or just come back and work here in malaysia.

any other advice would be helpful though

oh my god you people really shock me. it has never crossed my mind that people would argue over such silly matters. an opinion is an opinion, u may choose to accept or reject it. i sat back and laughed at this b4 i even bothered replying

haha..agree with u too..ms menon's expression is so cute when they announce the passing rate...i heard from my fren in mr goh's p7 class..ms menon even went there to look for mr goh and both of them really feel so release and happy..pity them la..both of them they look sooooo stress throughout the whole semester last year..especially in their edc class.. blush.gif

mr simon got teach f6 ar??i thought only joyce and ms rozi teach??i attended ms rozi's class and i think is wonderful..i like her style so much..i hope she will teach p6 in future..attended ms goh's p1 class too and also like his style, the way he do question with us is like revising most of the things we need to know and i like his stories tongue.gif

i was in miss rozi's class too and really enjoyed her classes. though the homeworks are numerous, it helps a lot. she said that if my class were to get 100% passing rate, she'll teach p6 tongue.gif but sadly 2 resitters were in our class and failed doh.gif if i'm not applying for a loan to go to LCA, i'd have stayed and taken p6 just because she really made taxation interesting
