My annual subscription fee is due soon but yet to receive any invoices from ACCA. Unfortunately I don't have ability to make online payment. So what should I do now? Should I just go to ACCA M'sia office and make a cash payment?

p/s: Normally how long should we receive the invoices from ACCA UK? I'd been waiting for a long time already cry.gif

abstract from accaglobal:

"On registration you will be asked to pay an initial subscription fee. Then on 1 January each year, an annual subscription fee will be due."

if u have failed to pay then, u may still make payment but i think since it has been a month, u will need to pay an additional fee for re registration i.e. 66 pounds...u may go to acca malaysia and make a payment, but i am not sure whether they will accept cash or would prefer a bank draft of some sort. Call them beforehand. But i suggest telling them that u did not receive any invoices. may have been lost in the mail or due to a wrong address. check with them and hope they can waive whatever late payment fees ...

i paid my subs fee late on 8th jan, my name was still in the register and i was not subject to a re-reg fee. may be diff for u since it has been a mth...i got my invoices, as i always do, weeks before jan 1st.

strange that u didnt get the invoices...

Is ACCA as tough as it is reputed to be?
Do anybody know the stats for the number of students to pass ACCA in a single-go(as in ace-ing all the papers without failing)?
*
honestly, it's as tough as u want it to be. when i took acca, i tot it was tough because i was a part time student...but i've looked at other courses, and acca is actually comparatively okay esp if you are a full time student. plus it would help if u had an aptitude for acct...

my suggestion, dun worry about stats, (never worry about stats, why bother about the rest when u are not competing against them to passa and u shud be confident in your own abilities)...imho, if u really want to do accounting, u wouldnt care if the exam is supposedly hard. if you're scared you'd fail, put in the effort. if you're scared you wun have the time, either do just one or two papers a sitting, or dun study coz it'll be waste of money in the end if u fail due to lack of study time. if you're scared you'd fail despite putting in maximum effort, then you have failed by simply being scared in the first place. confidence is important...

Just some general tips for you :
1) Never take any advance professional qualification in established univerisities like monash, taylor, sunway (exception in lower level) or segi.....
Therefore taking acca in place like MARA or any govt linked tuition provider is  NOT RECOMMENDED.
The reason bcos no single centre can accumulate all lecturers for each paper. That situation can never happen like Man utd can never have
11 C. Ronaldo on the field.
haha, thank god they'll never have 11 ronaldos tho id prefer 11 messis...
