I've been in many forum here in dubai calling for mini 4wd racers but since couple of days posting no body dare to reply... tamiya here is dry as desert. I went everywhere in dubai just to find shops can sell tune up parts and circuits but still no hope. I'm loosing hope maybe Ill continue this jurney in Philippines atleast there Lil's Hobbyshop still selling good quantity of this cars...

i'm a noob to this forum, found this thread while browsing & searching for stuff at garage sales.
i used to race these 4wd cars way back in late 1996-1997. theres a few competition held in
selayang mall, galeria setapak, a shopping mall in pandan indah, summit square to name a few &
the last competition i've paid for but failed to compete was held in sogo(not 4wd).

herewith attached those few cars still under my custody. the rest, its either given to my nephew or
neighbours kids as birthday present.









i've read thru all the 11 pages & very suprised to know that there are still enthusiast
to this hobbies, though its quite expensive to some.

thank you, and hope to get much advice from the pros.

bcoz the orignl motor is to slow, i change the motor..sprint dash that
original is 4 the gun bluster..

now, it become 2wd drive..hehe...1 shaft only....hehe

well nice to meet u if u are interested in playing mini4wd again can just come over to tamiya underground we have a reasonable track and parts available

History: Used to play 1st version mini 4WD,Avante & Saber(silver).

RM16.90 percar for that moment.
No race track are available also. (year about before 1993)

wow still got ppl playing tamiya..anywayz its a nice hobby. Back to 4 years ago..im crazy bout tamiya and goto sunway pyramid every saturday and sunday to play...

Gosh, this thread brings fond memories . . . can any mini 4wd join or must be tamiya only? I have few sets of diassembled cars . . . cuz i only focus on one, thing isits not full tamiya . . . chasiss n most parts are except, motor casing, magnets and roller ball bearings, hahaha. Ill post pics when im back home . . . i actuall nvr tried my car on a track for the current setting though . . . love the huge track at 1 utama . . . but dunno can it be used?

in your place are'nt you using other product to setup your cars? actually i found that photo in mini4wd italia... i just wonder if i can get it also in your place. i visit some online store in your country but they are not selling any item other than tamiya... thanks for your help but if theres somebody whose willing to sell it online just pm me. thanks again
