nice to see another racer join this forum and thanx for the calculatins
putting the car on the dyno to check the speed is totally different then calculating its run on the actual track where it have drag , resistance and surface grip.
have u measure your speed basad on the length of the track with the fastest timinig done that maybe faster or slower.
long time ago we used to play speed here also but the way we calculate is different .our aim is the go as many pcs of track we can in a second.
example
total 200 pcs of track multiply by total laps devide by the timing to get the total
200 multiply 3 devide by 25sec total 24pcs of track per second
now in china they have gone 53 pcs per second
the fastest i reacall here is 43 pcs per sec if i am not mistaken that was i think 11 years ago
can i know more about the race format and rules for speed race in indonesia
i hope the learn new things
Hello David,
First I am not a speed player..

I am actually a standard player here in Indonesia.. but I know a little bit about speed since I am selling also few speed car spareparts...
and Yes.. the speedchecker only count the speed of the motor where it also affected by gear set and the size of the wheel, and also the tires... may I know that you said 43 is it means 43 only straight lane or mixed ? coz it really depend on the shape of the track.... Speed player here in Indonesia usually play on 300 pcs of track (24 pcs curve).. and it will take 19.40 s for 3 laps.. (may be there is more player who can run faster than this record)

Race format here same like other race in Indonesia.. we're using coupon if we want start our car in the box start.. the winner of one race will have 2nd stage coupon and so on until we find 3 champions... and coz of this coupon rules 1 player/team will be able to win the 1st,2nd and 3rd place of the winner... this slight general rules of tamiya event in Indonesia...

how bout in malaysia ?
