Will this driver support my 8400M GS?

Officially - No. NVIDIA hasn't been releasing laptop drivers for ages. You need to download mobile GPUs drivers from your laptop manufacturer site.

You can install it if you modify the driver files. It should work flawlessly with 8400M GS.

If you want to try, I can provide you the inf.

the GeForce 200 series is version 177.35 WHQL

This drive increase my 3DMark Vantage score from P9100+ to P9900+ without using PhysX.

I think there is an update for Windows XP. The version is the same but release date for it is July 9th and the installer doesn't install Portal Now.

i had some problems using this driver. keeps crashing when playing ProEvo Soccer 2008. Out of a sudden my graphics become distorted. But other games no problem. when revert back to older drivers, the problem goes away.

Sory..noob question here...Do i need 2 uninstal d old driver before updating 2 this latest driver????

i'm using this version, playing on PES2008 is fine, or is it u r patching too much on the game? (btw, i'm using E.V.O.L.U.T.I.O.N. Patch II)

nope i din patch anything. just installed it and play. before this my 8600GT was fine. only had this problem after change my gc.

latest release is 177.79 whql for XP and Vista

im downloading the driver right now. it stated there beta.

there seems to be an issue with this release..

on gtx280, it does not downclock on idle..

I'm using it for my 8500gt..No prblm at all..
Prefer to use it rather than driver in ori CD..

i got blue screen after reboot. Then it couldnt let me in to system in normal way but safe mode. Using 8800gt here.

uninstall the previous driver b4 install this driver.

What if we forgot to uninstall the previous driver in the process?
Should be uninstall this new driver and reinstall it again?
