u will need the controller and the mem card. Most shops that sell wii usually have this third party ones for RM30 or so.

I've had one for almost a year now..it's still good

U should let the games decide..search at gamespot/ign at look at their best games/editor's choice for a particular console there. If a particular console got more games that u like, then go for that one.
