Huh?? What do you guys mean? I think that the best think to happen if the oil bubble were to burst.
Why? ; 1: Transportation costs down. 2: Utility costs down 3: Cheaper airline fares 4: Lower freight rates 5: Manufacturing costs down 6: Automotive industry will be revived. 7: Raw materials for everything plastic/polystyrene would be down But bad points; 1: Government tax collection from oil companies would be down 2: Less business for oil industry service companies (but they are small number anyway) 3: Due to less tax from oil companies, development of infrastructure might be scaled down. So to conclude, people will be happier but will be driving down shittier roads. |

If it is true that speculators are holding a billion barrels of crude oil, price is going to go up more, and goes down gradually.

I think some people misundertand the term oil bubble burst & oil bubble
Oil bubble mean oil price shoot to unrealistic high. Oil bubble burst mean sky-rocketing oil price bubble become deflated, aka burst. Oil price plunged down significantly. |

I think the bubble is going to get a bit more bigger before it can burst.
But when burst, dunno lar, if you are involved in that industry directly, then maybe hard times will come. But other industries will enjoy cheaper fuel. |

I think it will gives a big boost on the economy, increasing of demand in almost all sector.
It is very hard to tell how stock market would response, it will fluctuate dramatically as people trying to adapt to changes. I won't be surprise with a very inelastic response from government in terms of oil subsidy. Traffic?.....jam! |

Nah, I dont think it will burst so easily.
They bought so cheap and now with prices so high, their average still pretty low. Now if you are in need of oil and someone approach you to sell you USD120 per barrel, you wont even think twice. |

If oil bubble burst, it will be good news to everyone in this world.
Share market will boost by property, consumer, aviation, transportation ..etc..(only O&G stock will affected, in this case we dun buy this counter lor). Everyone gain from share market(other than O&G stock), ppl richer, consumer spending up, economy good, ... So, what we waiting for? Lets pray for oil bubble to burst anytime... |

this depends if oil market is bigger or stock market is bigger
there is also company which invested in oil and possible of other company who invested in the company that invest in oil....so if oil bubble burst.....so is that company that invest in oil....... hard to say...too much chain reaction |
