Audited this baby before the KLIAV, sound so good...like it very much

May i know which A&L branch that quoted u that price? I'm quoted by a sale person called Yap in A&L Amcorp Mall at RM2.1K and he said that was the best price he could gave me.

Then on KLIAV 1st day, I went to A&L show room in the hotel and a thin man seem like bout 30++ (don't know his name) quoted me at RM2090 and that was his best offer.

If compare to the price u listed, u got a much better offer. Anyway, do u sell this CHT-10R baby? How much do u sell?

O...RM1900 was for KLIAV, how much do you think it cost currently htkaki (the standard price which is acceptable)? Wah!!! Really feel like trying those movies you recomended d la....Hopefully can get a reasonable price and setup my system asap....

Ohya All Sifus, i saw a unit of Robertson Audio MF50 Subwoofer brand new in box cost RM229 some where. May I know is this subwoofer a value buy with that price? Any one know how this sub sound?

Agree with you arremie, will most properbly go for velo babies...but still considering either CHT-10R or CHT-12R. Will decide on that after audition on these two babies at the same time....

Wah!!! Thought the price already increase after KLIAV arj? Still going to increase some more ar....I really need to plan my time and go for audition on this 12R baby before the price increase again.... Also need to plan on my budget d... If Amcorp Mall A&L can give me this standard price and has the stock there, maybe I'll get direct from there. Will call Sungai Wang and Amcorp Mall branch tomorrow to ask for the latest price.

I'm currently using Yamaha RX-V463 and Pioneer S-MS500 MKII Speaker set, if I pair this speaker set with Velo CHT-10R or 12R will my current speaker set unmatch with these velo babies? Need all Sifus advices on this before I buy my dream Sub...

Hehehe...I think should be typing error arj mentioned before is RM2590.

I just called A&L Sungai Wang and Amcorp Mall, the following is the price they quote me:

A&L Sungai Wang : RM2590 (RM2755 with cable)
A&L Amcorp Mall : RM2500 (with cable)

Will most properbly go to Amcorp Mall d...

However is RM2500 already the best price all Sifus?

Velo 12R baby, I'm coming soon...

I already put my order for Velo CHT-12R baby at Amcorp Mall I managed to get a reasonable price for this baby togather with the Sub cable (RM2450). So without thinking further I order my very 1st Sub...hehe...

Hahaha...nola arj, for long term so better go for a good one if not will need to spend even more in the future... So, sakit-sakit one time go....hehe... Beside that, another reason was really kena poison thick thick (gau gau) d...

Ohya, just noticed from the sale person that A&L only import the black colour version not cherry and silver colour...Wanted the cherry but don't have so no choice, after all is OK la since black colour nice also...

Saw and read a lot of threads mentioning on this Sub, therefore when to audition and you know what sekali listen really fall and drown into the poison pool...althought i only audited on CHT-10R baby. This 10R baby really gave me a shock compared to PSP 5i which i audit 1st on that day. The sale person used Transformer for me to audit.

May I know how much did you buy for the PSB Alpha T1, C1 & B1 set? Saw the PSB Alpha T1 speaker cone was make from aluminium and it really sound good especially those robot transformasion in Transformer, to me it sound like this aluminium cone help in producing realistic metal sound.

Good deal you got that, I was quoted for above RM3k for that speaker set which was a bit over pricing. Ya, this speaker set really sound good. May need to ask the sale person what best price he could give currently...Planning to get this speaker set also if got $$$,hehe!!!

Price checked: Velodyne CHT-10R ~RM1800 (new stock will be in on the 18/08/08 but not sure will on time or not)
Paradigm PDR10 RM1600 (Best price at Asia Sound by Michael Ong)

According to the A&L sale person, the new stock for Velodyne CHT-10R might or might not be at RM1800 cause very much depend on the price increase by the manufacturer. However, he mentioned to me that A&L Malaysia already requested the manufacturer not to increase the price. So, this price will be a reference for all those who wanna get this 10R baby (at least you can use this price to bargain more).

All the best to you s6xs9x in chosing your Sub lo ya...if this CHT-10R really sell at RM1800 then better go for velo baby o...just top up another RM200 only (try to get the Sub cable also) k...

Added on August 12, 2008, 11:31 pmtimothyy, go for 12R if you have the budget since currently no stock for 10R. I got my Velo CHT-12R just now togather with "audioquest CinemaQuest SUB-A" subwoofer interconnect which was 3 metres long at the price of RM2450.

If you wanna buy it then need to be faster lo...cause even this 12R baby is selling fast now, I saw there was another two more 12R babies left there after I got mine.

Ohya, for those who wanna buy Velo babies do ask the sale person to give you the special price ya... Try to tell them that your friend was able to get those babies at RM2.4K or lower (but reasonable) togather with the cable during KLIAV. Then they will start to squeeze more for you, after that say that you will pay them cash and try to ask them squeeze more... Finally sentence that you must said "You give me this beautiful price (your price in heart), i'll get it now directly from you".

I used these sentences when bargaining that day and you know what it workssss althought not much (initially was quoted at RM2600).... Hahahaha

Great to heard that I got this info from the A&L Amcorp Mall Branch Manager (Yap), hopefully what he mentioned does come out in that way la....

The Branch Manager is a nice guy, he served me on my 1st audition at the branch... During my 1st audition, he did all the speakers (Alpha Series) setup by moving here and there. Then let me listened to both the PSB 5i Sub and Velo CHT-10R, however i came out empty handled and yet he still served me well. Today, he is the one that help me to sent the 12R baby and carry into my car. Initially wanna book from him this baby but he was off on Monday, so deal with another person. Mentioned this to him and he still very friendly and said no problem, he thanked me some more for the support. He really provided me the 1st class services la...

You booked your 663 at A&L Amcorp Mall also? Back to 3 weeks ago, I ask Lagend SS2 they have the very last unit there. Now don't know got new stock or not... However, i end up buying 463 la...since i was just a beginner
