why is that my sub woofer at first produce some bass then a few minute later the sub woofer doesn't produce any bass anymore? if i unplug the the input cable which is 3.5mm jack and insert it back the bass is there back but only to last few minute only? why is this occurring?
im using other speaker to test out whether if the amp really did send out bass signal and yes the signal is there so its not the amp fault..

yes it is a pc sub enzo7000 sub (80wt rms ) while the amp got analog output for bass it also have 3.5mm output bass also. the signal is there but i was sure that the bass unit aren't responding to the signal. its start responding once again if i give it some "shock" like plugging the 3.5 jack from the bass and reinsert it back.. i wonder if this what they call overheat and burn subwoofer?

R u refering to the sub woofer speaker or just the sub woofer as a whole? I have not take apart the sub woofer speaker but I did open up all my sub woofer ( got pic in my sub woofer entry ).

He! He! I am a fellow with itchy hand so I open up all my sub woofer just to see the inside. tongue.gif  & also see the build quality also exp the type of amp used. smile.gif

i was referring to sub woofer speaker itself. so if i did open it, it will not effect the bass quality isn't?
