arj, trust your ears. If you dont feel / hear the difference, why fork out extra?

I wld go for cheaper speakers as I personally feels it doesn't make sense to pay that much of money for that minute difference. Well, may that's just me

Apparently, the special price for CHT-10R is for KLIAV show only. Damn!

The CHT-12R dig deeper than the 10R. You will feel the difference when you watch movie like U-571, Master and Commander and other movies with lots of low thumping bass effect.

Bro, later time to upgrade other speakers as well.

Robertson Audio is a local brand. I do not know whether the companym is still running. It was more than a decade when it first hit the market with its cheap floorstanders. Not sure abt its sub performance though.

SW150 cannot be compared with Velo CHT series. Diff league.

Called A&L today. The CHT-12R might not have anymore stock. Only left with demo units. They ll check and let me know tomorrow.

If got stock, those interested must quickly sapu it

the demo units are perfectly run in. But, I prefers new as subwoofer is very sensitive due to the intricate build.

Huh? SVS afraid it wld be waste for their Reference sub ke?

Too boomy, I guess due to the pressurized sound in small room. It will 'overwhelm' the rest of the speakers.

I dont have such problem with my sub. Important thing is, do you hear humming noise when the sub is idle?

So, I guess it has something to do with the electricity noise?

Unfortunately, A&L is the sole distributor for Velodyne. I dont think other shop cld offer lower. Btw, A&L branch in Amcorp Mall offers lower price.

However, not sure abt the new shipment price though.
