Do u audit the CHT-10R as well? May I know how different between CHT-10R and CHT-12R? I'm in the mid of considering this two babies. Been audited the CHT-10R before but not CHT-12R.

Apparently, the special price for CHT-10R is for KLIAV show only. Damn!

The CHT-12R dig deeper than the 10R. You will feel the difference when you watch movie like U-571, Master and Commander and other movies with lots of low thumping bass effect.

Yup, the 12R can go as low as 25Hz.

To prepare for my BD version (to be released August 26), watched the U-571 DVD version 2 days ago. Really one of the titles to be used to test your sub. My 10R performed well, can't wait fo the DTS-HD MA version!

Heard you're using MA BR2 for fronts .. good for movies?
I'm now choosing between the BR5 frist or BR2 first for fronts ...
Might change my mind if paradigm monitor are any way better.
Will get the CHT10R maybe two months time, when i refill my wallet.

Yup, BR2 for fronts. And satellites for others. I don't want big setup, so no floorstanders for me.

It's good for movies, but the real reason I bought it is because it's really good with music. I use 50% of my setup for music. General rule of thumb, if you hear it good with music, it should be good with movies too. For BR5, it's a floorstander, so I can imagine better bass with better soundstage, with the same clarity as BR2. Go for it if you have the budget.

So, I guessed wrong, thought you're getting a Paradigm sub, which is not bad if you ask me.

BR5's bass is weaker than BR2, because BR2 is using larger ~6" woofer.

But BR5 fills the room with a softer tone rather than direct punch from the BR2.

Ohya All Sifus, i saw a unit of Robertson Audio MF50 Subwoofer brand new in box cost RM229 some where. May I know is this subwoofer a value buy with that price? Any one know how this sub sound?

Ooops, my mistake. I got mixed up, I thought it was BR6. The BR6 is the floorstanding version of the BR2 with 6.5" drivers.

I've got other BDs with DTS-HD MA. In fact, all BDs from Fox uses DTS-HD MA. Live Free or Die Hard really shakes the doors in my house.

last night finally watch Cloverfield.....one word.....thumping & shaking.....can already feel the shake 1sec of the movie when the movie studio logo comes up

Yup, Cloverfield is the blu-ray to test your sub. Been saying this many times, but people are afraid to buy it, you know, getting dizzy and throwing up.
