In terms of subwoofer, for my limited budget I'd really like the MFW-15 from AV123. Highest rated budget sub on the craigsub list. 15" sub for USD$699. Too bad they don't ship outside USA at the moment. sad.gif

I know a way to do that. To be precise, I know someone who could do that for a fee brows.gif

Doesnt necessary to be up front.

Need to do the 'crawl' test to locate the best location for the sub. I am quite worried about this too. If up front, it would block my screen

Then find second sweet spot for it. Need to compromise a bit. Anyway, I bet not many of us are using this technique.

I bet a lot of ppl just put it in front, side by side wt the front speaker.

I use to crawl around for the 'sweet' spot but after crawling around my peasant ear go bonker everywhere sound the same!!!??? shocking.gif He! He! No choice but to use a spl meter. Find out the best spot is actually at the back of my living room corner. Now the bass is good can ever vibrate the table. Only problem is I need a very long sub cable ........10m sweat.gif

Yup, one of the most attractive things about the Klipsch is the bronze color drivers. Cantik! But do many of you leave the grills off? No worries about the kids accidentally poking the driver? If no kids then no problem la.

I think what he meant was to off the x-over at the sub and let the AVR take over the base managent. Some sub cannot off (like mine). Just set it to the max cross over frequency.

My RW-12D got Lowpass frequency setting, if i set it to the max, it will disable it n change to LFE mode, now i m not sure should i disable it or enable, which one r better???

bro like what pierreye said these r all entry subwoofers only.. dont expect miracles ... 12r, 12d and pb nsd are all entry subwoofers.. each have their limitations.. we just need to ask ourselves what we r looking for... 12d will have its advantage over 12r in certain area.. vise versa.. it wont smoke each other.. same as svs pb-nsd entry sub.. it will have more authority from 25hz n below BUT it is very big in size so its not for every1.. and if u dont watch movies that much then u dont need those lower freq authorities.. all 3 r using 200+ and 300+ watts rms amps only... how they rate their amps is another questions... if u r comparing 2 similar sized enclosure but 1 is using 800 watts rms amp and the other is 300watt then it will be safe to safe to say it will smoke the other sub
