When it go so loud and deep(9Hz). Normally the sub volum is turn to 1 o'clock or 3 o'clock?

cos i test some sub, they only dance when it turn to 2 o'clock..

if more then 12 o'clock, more then half the volume can it be any side effect to our woofer or the sub amp?
