QUOTE(mikapoh @ Oct 10 2008, 01:51 PM) Hi Sub fan, Never heard of Pro-Energy before. AudioPro, yes. Energy, Yes. Better top a bit more to get Wharfy SW150 at abt RM1.2KOne question, do u think it is worth to invest an active sub of RM800 to my exisiting LG HTIB system ?? I am quite pleased with the clarity produced by its satellite speakers but only want to add punch to the bass only. I have shopped and found this brand Pro-Energy active sub of RM799. What do u think ? |

QUOTE(hackwire @ Oct 10 2008, 11:04 PM) is the bass from the sub suppose to sync with the soundtrack of the movie ? is this beyond our control or we need to let the new sub run in for a while? Or something to do with Phase setting? If it is in front, then set at '0'. At the back, is '180 deg', side is '90 deg'. Try to get the best phase setting as yours are at the side. New sub needs to be run-in. Else, you will end up damaging it. Abt 100hrs. |

At this current economic situation, it is not easy to be a distributor esp for SVS sub as there is a commitment to sell at a certain quanitty. Moreover, only a handful with enough fund and interest would spend their money on this sub.
I had once nearly got the distributorship for a major US speaker a few years ago. The top guys were coming over to negotiate with a few potential distributors. But, I gave it up as I feel I am not ready for it. |

Servo 15? Fuyoo... But, those who loves solid punchy bass might not like Servo 15 as it leans toward musicality. It is indeed powerful.
I knew a place to audition this Mama sub. Mega, interested or not? Can audition SPL-1200R and Servo 15 |

No, I am going to use my near-to-death sub at the back (apparently, it is ok a bit now
I set 1800 at 'LFE + Main' as my floorstanders can go real low and it integrates well. |

I thought Full range is 20Hz - 20KHz. No? Btw, I set mine to 'LFE+Main', which is better than 'LFE' only.

Can lah. I am using PS3. HDMI do all the job from PS3 to my Yammy 1800.
Actually, I prefer wide distance between the 2 front spkrs. Mine is abt 8 ft apart due to room width limitation. I really wish I could have a 18' wide room x 28' lin length. Then, I will set the front at abt 12' apart to create a wider soundstage. |

QUOTE(timothyy @ Oct 19 2008, 06:02 PM) Thanks HT... Bro, my CHT-12R does not rattle aything in my room. So, I guess it sld be the plaster ceiling with some loose fixing or the thinness of it. Now, I can confidently buy PS3, play PS3 on 120" screen... And blast my speakers. Wuhoo... Will surely post up some pics for u guys. 120" screen? Customise screen? 92" is already big to me. 120" is gigantic |
