dont get excited too much.here's the scenario.

You come to gmi,
payed all the fees except rm4000 one.

and believe me,for one whole semester,you'll not getting any mara allowance at all.

Thats why in 2nd semester you'll gonna have rm3.6k in your bank.
minus 600 for the hostel fees,you'll get 3k at 2nd semester.

1st semester u have to diet la XD


this applies only to diploma student,dont know about gapp student.

for gapp,yeah,2 red shirt(supervisor)instead of 2 baju kilang.

i, for one, doesn't feel excited at all last time as i only got 1/2 loan

yeah,for some guys(yang mak bapak kaya ==")
only got 1/2 loan only which mean only for FEES.

no allowance every month.

the only reason i didn't get the 1/2 loan is that i don't cheat during the application, unlike some. well, up to them, their money. hell, my dad's salary was around 4k that time and guess what? re-appeal and i still didn't get full loan while someone else who's father's salary is around 10k DID GET FULL LOAN.

and what did they do after getting those allowance? BUY FULL SET OF RAZER PC GAMING GEARS while i eat roti canai and 2x meals a day.

im going to GMI this july..5/7...im taking PDM(product design n manufacturing)..nak tny sikit...hostel got how many floor?can choose or not which floor want to sit in?

1 more thing i want to ask is that is there any rugby team on gmi?im thinking of joining the team..

cant choose one,roomate also can't choose.

try going out to mapley at 3am to watch football, or going back to the hostel at 3am. not sure during your time, but during mine there's only one choice available, either don't go out or don't go in.

and btw, hostel still dont have internet right? another plus for staying outside. theft is also lesser outside than inside.

and lastly, during my final year, my classmates that stayed at hostel always complaint that there's always water cut-off.

if stay in hostel no warden ka?all mind ur own biz or got rollcall all?

got warden, but they dont stay in the hostel building itself, there's warden houses outside the building, but within the compound.

ooo so not that free la for the student...the hostel always full or only half full?meaning is the student staying in the hostel can fill the hostel til the 11th floor?

i guess it's near to full nowadays as GMi intake is more than yesteryears.

seniors,during orentasi week can wear jeans ar??or slack?
