i noticed in the offer letter gmi sent me that i'd be doing vorpraktikum as well alongside GAPP and german language.
what is vorpraktikum all about? i know it translates into practical training but i cant imagine what type of training i have to undergo through since i'd be only learning basic subjcts in A level (like maths, physics, chemistry)

any idea?

vorpraktikum is actually pre-study industrial practical for german students. german uni require u to do the vorpraktikum to study there. i did my vorpraktikum in GMI for about 460+ hours. you'll learn milling, grinding, cad , etc2.

Oh gawd. 460+ is like more than time I spend playing PS3. You have to do blue collared jobs?

How does the jacket looks like actually? I'm confused as to whether I need plain white collared t-shirt or just white shirt.

i find grinding milling welding were quite fun since i like technical stuff. it depends on you whether it can be fun or not.

i'm not sure about the gmi official jacket since i did my preparation in intec not gmi.
