which one is better in GMI? Electronics\IT or mechatronics??

Hi, I have something to ask. Is the German A level thing the same exam as the international A levels? or is it A Level in German language? Can I apply to foreign universities other than German ones if in the end I decided to not go to Germany?

when my batch got 3 mechatronic class and 1 only EIT class.

so what you think.? from sem1 to sem3 you will study some thing with other class.

after sem4 only you will start to study your core course.

if you computer-fag then just go to EIT. but if you mechanical/machine-fag just go to mechatronic.

like my story before. after graduate from GMI, my gf continue degree at BMI. she said environment at GMI more fun and nice than BMI. Our lectures/TTO more sporting because some our TTO is ex-GMI.

i got offer from gmi(couse product design n manufacturing..
anyone here study in this course..??
how the future in this couse..??

are the lecturers german people or local?

that not my department. so don't know bout that course
some how that is new course


lectures from local. but all machine, workbench from Germany.

our lectures got training at Germany before.

I see from the course structure there are 7-8 subjects per semester. Isn't that too heavy? How do u guys cope with that?

How's the scuccess rate? Many dropouts?

as i remembered in my class got 25 peoples. only 2 dismissed. 2 repeat sem.

actually it very easy to score because only 30% is your final exam.

the other 70% is your assignment, quiz, test and attendant.

if you can send your assignment in time,
if you can answer open book quiz,
if you can score your test,
if you no ponteng more than 20%

sure you can pass that subject.

score final exam if you want to get A that subject. true story.

well to you the truth.living in gmi sometimes sucks.very poor management.no wifi.facilties facilities not well maintained .the management become very terrible since they moved here in bangi.well after living here for a year you will get used used to it.but be prepared,the time time table its absolutely pack.no time to rest or enjoy.but here is very easy to score since it has more practical than theory.

in my class average is 2.5-3.0

but better you get >3.0 because you will only pay your mara loan 10%. if 2.5-3.0 you will pay 25%.

in GMI very tough to get >3.5 only few clever people get it


my class got few people from art stream. yeah, honestly they got hard time there.

but they still survived. few also dismissed.

so to art stream student need to study more hard and yeah, our lectures willing to help you if you got some thing you no understand.

i just enjoyed my student's life as much i can. coz when you start working for sure you will miss your student's life.

I've read ur post since 2008. So, impressive you are still active in this thread. So, as my becoming senior. I'm going to register to GMi this july. I have a few questions to ask.

1. Ada buli2 tak?
2. kena panggil senior abg2 ke?
3. How is the accommodation? Read the before post said that gmi got swimming pool and what so eva. haha
3. peluang pekerjaan tnggi ke?
4. I'm going for mechatronics, Is there any subjects I need to revise before entering GMi ?

1.no no bully after you officially as GMI's student. un-officially = orientation time = raging. ahahaha
our orientation quite tough because got outdoor activities. when my time did at Gua Batu Maloi, N.Sembilan. what they did to you that time, just wait your turn.

2. actually senior didn't bother to kacau junior. because they busy with their work and assignment. but even they no kacau you just respect them as senior.

3. swimming pool? now got meh? i didn't know. lol. but their hostel quite good but abit exp. ala new campus right? all in good condition for now

4. from their surveys 90% got jobs after finished diploma. evem me got job after 2 months finished it.

5. before you enter if want revise just study for fizik, math, electrical. that i only can remember for sem 1 subject.

hahaha, orientation week must be really tough. huaargghh! ! haha. yeah respect is a must. Is it true that GMi is mainly consist of male students. Waah, mcm dok MCKK plak. hehe
