A totally free youtbube downloader,when starting to play youtube video,a pop-up window will display over the system tray,very easy to use.

I use two laptop,
step (1) Connect a S-video cable from laptop-A's S-video output to laptop-B's Pinnacle s-video input, laptop-B has a Pinnacle video capture device.
connect a phone jack cable from laptop-A's audio output to laptop-B's Pinnacle audio input.

Step (2) Playback Youtube video in fullscreen mode on laptop-A.

Step (3) Start Pinaccle software on laptop-B to record the video. The default output file is .mpeg.
Later in Pinnacle software, you can edit the video, save the video in many format (wmv, rm, avi, ..ect also can create DVD directly).

How come when we use youtube downloader, we can only download .mp4 video from youtube?

Cannot download .flv file which is smaller in size meh??

erm...just the free version of AVG...i dont think it's strong enough to protect my comp..aiks...

simple...install Internet Download Manager (IDM)...it's shareware by d way...n perhaps with some nice googling effect u cn found d 'free' version 1..

idm is more ideal n more faster in downloading..but idm need serial keys..
but if u genius enough,try to search keygen n it's worth...

At first, I'm using the keepvid.com. Easy and do not need to install. but after several times I'm using it, there was some problem.

So, now I'm using http://youtubeinmp4.com plus I'm using IDM. For me, this easy. Just dl from the youtubeinmp4.com and it will dl through the IDM. But the IDM sometimes have problem download video such as the button dl do not appear. Hehehe, this is my way to dl vid from you.

Agreed. Use Internet Download Manager (IDM). You could even stretch its support to other browsers (besides IE) like Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari, etc in its control panel.

Nothing beats IDM imo when it comes to downloading youtube videos.
