QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Sep 3 2008, 07:25 PM)
I feel very sad. The Hazro 26'' Hazro HZ26Wi is only sold in the UK. Impossible to get in Malaysia.
The review

http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/hazro_hz26wi.htm
But fortunately the HP LP2475W is quite comparable and competes directly with the Hazro HZ24Wi. Mine is arriving in 7-10 days from now since it takes 3 days to clear by credit card it seems.

I paid RM 2400 for this so it's worth it imho. Rm 3000 was starting to make me sweat. I'm buying from HP directly since the reseller said they have no stock heh.
I really have no idea why people are looking at the Dells. I personally own a Dell 2405 FPW by the way. It was a good monitor but now is the time for me to experience S-IPS since people have been telling me it had lower input lag, better color and image quality. I've seen TN and it's worse then my PVA monitor ...........

Dell 2408 is a S-PVA with high input lag issues .... the HP LP2475W has between 15-30 ms input lag which is perfectly fine. In an official review the Hazro HAZ26Wi has 7.5 to 20 ms which is quite impressive.

I will post a mini review with pics once i get my monitorĀ  nod.gif

How did you get RM2400 for the monitor? It is listed on the website as RM3000.

Pls let me know....

Any LCD monitor will have its negative comments. Its down to how are you going to use it and how much is your budget.

There are many good comments on the dell 2408.

Input Lag only really noticeable in really fast action games. Cause the lag is in the order of milliseconds, many casual gamers doesn't have a big concern with it.

Experts, please correct me if i'm wrong.

Added on September 15, 2008, 11:46 pmI'm thinking of getting 2 of those dell 2409 instead of the HP 2475w. I think for price of the HP, i can get those 2409 although the panel is of the cheaper TN type.

Anybody have any different thoughts??

Just don't know if the better panel will be that noticeable to me cause i'm just using it for normal daily usage, gaming, movies, work. So just considering what is the best option to spend a budget of 2k+ on the lcd monitor.

Do you guys think that the trend for 24" is going 16:9 rather than 16:10?

It seems that more and more company are producing 16:9

QUOTE(stormer @ Sep 20 2008, 10:34 PM)
Hello guys/girls,

I'm just curious what are the best view (screen resolution) for LCD 19" widescreen. Currently mine are set to 1024 x 768 but recommendate are 1440 x 900.

I once setted to 1440 x 900 but everything looks small to me (fonts...etc..etc)  biggrin.gif

I would like to hear from the other forumer, what are the screen resolution currently they set to their LCD 19 " widescreen...?

TIA
*
Normally the best setting is the native resolution, for 19' widescreen is 1440x900. Because if you set to a lower resolution, the image is not sharp anymore as the LCD has to scale down to the lower resolution.

I think most of us will stick to the native resolution as it gives the best image quality.

The font is slightly smaller, but you will get use to it.

MY understanding is that the ultrasharp uses a better LCD panel(Eg. PVA) and the non Ultrasharp uses TN panels. But for 22" ultrasharp i don't think there is much difference, maybe only in the warranty type.

I'm from SP also. It is not only hard to find a good deal, it is also hard to find the model of LCD that you want, n somemore you get few units on display so you could not look at the actual LCD screen.
