which 24' model is the best deal for watching movie and surfing? i not going to use it for game.

24" BenQ G2400W = HDMI 1080p = RM980 nia

22" or BenQ T2200HD also 1080p = NO HDMI, RM689 niah. its up to you if you want to pay RM300 more for the additional 2" in size 

for me, i'll choose with :
BenQ G2400W
or
Dell S2409W
coz both are i believes affordable 24''
n both can go with HD 1080p but the BenQ i think need to 1:1 mapping coz the reso is 1920x1200.
while the Dell is at 1920x1080,so no need 1:1 mapping.

Hi all, noobie here need all of expert's advise here on 22" LCD Wide should i get. i've sorted out 4.

1)LG W2242T 22" Wide TFT LCD Monitor with DVI

2)BenQ G2200W 22" Widescreen DVI LCD

3)BenQ FP-222W

4)BenQ T221W

i assume 4 of them are within the same price range which is around rm650 correct me if im wrong.

any kind soul here willing to help me which 1 should i pick

now is for normal usage without xtreme gaming.future will for ps3 or x360 use. all these without HDMI port and with only DVI port will work for the console right?

or

should i wait for the coming BenQ T2200HD & E2200HD
which is around rm700 also ?

Today went around to check for Benq G2400W. The shop said got two version. One is normal one, another one with HD.

I remember one forumer mentioned this model was selling at RM 980.

May i clarify if there is only one version or two version?

BenQ website says it is 55W max though.

Firstly, the T220 is not full HD, it's 1680x1050. It's the BenQ T2200HD that's running on 1920x1080.

With the money you have, I'd suggest you buy a new computer all together, it'd be pointless to be running games on 1920x1080 with that PC of yours. By the way, the 1920x1080 is good for movies and with the budget most Malaysian have you'd be getting choppy frames running Crysis on 1920x1080 even with a HD4850. Don't say you weren't warned

1680 x 1050 is NOT full HD. TELL that to Samsung Malaysia's bottom. Get their CEO to smell my smelly ass for trying to con people. think malaysians are stupid ah?

i can play 1080p contents on my Samsung CRT monitor (albeit in slow motion) . THat does not make my monitor FULL HD

Wanna ask about the deal pixel issue when u buy new LCD, will the shop do 1 to 1 exchange when there's/re deal pixel on the new LCD that u buy, and by how many? Also any tips that I can avoid picking dead pixel LCD when buying LCD? On the spot ask them to test the LCD?

turn the monitor on to test it - change the desktop color to all black then, all blue all red and all white - look see look see got dead pixels or not
