but the response time that dell monitor is still 5ms?

Ya is grey-to-grey 5ms for the TN panel. Actually i can't differential the 2ms or the 5ms during gaming, so IMHO 5ms is serve me well.

And effective pixel twist from 0 to 90 and back to 0 is roughly 10 to 11 ms... and normal human cannot detect beyond 12ms.. (around 15 to 16ms is the norm) .... the neurotransmiter of connected to your retinal cells cannot be replenisned fast enough nor is the human brain fast enough to process the image..

soo.... 2ms on LCD is all hype with no human perseptible difference

However the real response maybe much higher than 2ms or 5ms as advert... hence, fake/false advert...

guys.i am looking for a 19in lcd monitor.can recommend me some brand to look in it?wat is the contrast ratio should i get?just for normal using.500-600 bucks will be my budget. Is samsung good?or other brand?

Yep all false advert...i think real response rate for other colours is > 10ms....anyway, it doesn't matter. All the LCD nowadays is so fast that there is no such thing as ghosting anymore.

put more 100+ bucks you can get a bigger 22" LCD monitor.

Went to Lowyat this last afternoon, wanted to get to feel t240 there. Didn't expect even the Samsung shop don't have it yet. zzzzz....

Hi pal sad that u lost ur baby but really no worth that you bought the 2nd LCD with the actual market price.
Well as i said the dell delivery and the online order is fast and easy, so u just bear for awhile ( Mostly within 5 days) then u can receive ur new dell baby. I think that is more better deal, unless u really got anything urgent then i might try to help since i will order another unit again.

It's just marketing gimmicks,below 16ms are unnoticeable ady.

faster is better than slower... 5ms is better than 12ms.
more than enough is better than not enough ($$$)

anyone using t220? care to give any opinions about the product? planning to buy a 22" lcd monitor soon..
