Anyone know where I can get the latest VX62 Series LCD from ViewSonic?
http://www.ap.viewsonic.com/my/pr/show.php?id=26

Found nowhere in Low Yat and I have called to local distributors but they said they don't carry this model into Malaysia.  sweat.gif

But it's weird I saw the news from InTech The Star (http://star-techcentral.com/tech/story.asp?file=/2008/7/31/prodit/1659170&sec=prodit) and ViewSonic Brochure in All IT.  rolleyes.gif

Try LYP's Viewnet. They are offcial viewsonic monitors sellers, but i guess they haven started to sell?

Ah so usually TN screen's have viewing angles of 160-170°'s? smile.gif
Dang. Still can't find anything more about a particular monitor. A quick search on Google did not yield any results as well. doh.gif

Normally is like that, for some info sharing http://www.behardware.com/articles/686-8/r...2407wfp-hc.html
In the review of previous dell model 2407wfp HC, it got the TN, MVA, PVA and IPS viewing angle comparison. You can have a look in those, and this site is quite knowledgeable. thumbup.gif

A bit out of topic, i had receive the s2409w unit in office today. So far i don't found any dead pixel, will stress test again later. smile.gif

If you're not satisfied, can ask for a refund of the unit within one week of purchase. They'll refund everything deduct RM80 restocking fee. Then order again until you get the perfect LCD.

I don't understand why you would want the 2408. if you want for gaming i don't recommend especially for games like counter strike. This monitor has exceptionally high input lag shakehead.gif If you don't believe just google it up.

It looks aesthetically nice, but lcd monitors is mostly about the quality of the lcd screen image. Stuff like looks and pivot/rotate/height adjust come secondary.

The new A01 revision for the Dell 2408 SUPPOSEDLY fixes the extremely high input lag. I haven't read whether it fixed it, or whether their in stock yet, but i wouldn't risk it if i was you.

Not sure about the 2408 price but since it's a S-PVA i am guessing it is cheaper then the HP LP2475W i am going to get. I am paying more but the quality is better and i checked the input lag is between 16-30 which is reasonable for IPS and PVA lcd panel types. The stand is not as sexy as the Dell, but i found the HP stand to be just as practical as the Dell. it isn't that ugly to me imho nod.gif

Instead of a refund you can ask for a replacement right?

Stuck pixel is not considered faulty, just like when you purchase a car, there's a minor scratch on the paintwork, you can't ask them to refund right? Unless there are a lot of scratches that deem unacceptable to the buyer.

But over the years there have been cases where people demand an exchange from DELL due to one stuck pixel, which DELL usually replace by a refurbished unit. Question is, is it worth it to replace a brand new monitor with a refurbished unit due to one stuck pixel?

There are some ways to unstuck a stuck pixel - a gentle circular massage on the area and of course the unstuck pixel video. Google it and give it a try.

Best to trial it PROPERLY before purchase rather than making numerous trips for the matter. Wasting petrol and time.

If you buy the LCD from retail store, of course you can test it before purchase. We are talking about DELL LCD now where they ship to us directly from factory.

Certainly no defender or Dell fanboy, but after reading countless articles and forums, this review made things easier for me and my 2408wfp purchase. I'm sharing it with others who are also interested in gettng a unit. By all means, compare and purchase the best LCD in your budget/performance category.

Hi , I want to know whether RM770 for HP w1907 is worth it or not ?
I went to every HP store but every store selling HP W2207H at the price RM1288 which is very expensive for me.
I don't know where to look.I search almost entire town.Lowyat here at garage sale don't have people selling any brand new while others like LG , Dell and Philips and Viewsonic got a lot.

So what should I do ? Contirue search for 22 inch HP W2207H or worth to buy HP w1907 for RM770 ?

This is one of the most comprehensive reviews I've ever read on monitors. Great job by the writer honestly.
