still............GTFO?? haha, old grudges, smelt that coming as soon as i posted
anyways, robinho's gone but the money that we got........considering that he is a cry baby..........the only problem is that we didnt get any players in after he was sold..........i'd be more worried on that, especially in the strikers deparment.......

messi, aguero, lavezzi, tevez, higuain..........i think they can be called talents.......
i think real madrid has probably the not so good one among those 5......still, better than nothing.....
i agree with verx, the defenders and the midfielders have lots of space seperating them.......that's where it hurts the most......

the only positive i see from real madrid is that everybody will track back......there was an instance where drenthe ran all the way from the his flank, in the barca half, to henry's flank in the madrid half just to close henry down........
for palanca, a little trick from him but nothing much.......cant beat eric abidal for dead......no end product either.........he should have squared instead of shooting for glory on one occasion.........crossing was bad too......
over all, i think real madrid were a bit blunt up front.......i think ramos and drenthe did well against dani alves..........if sergio ramos were man mark messi, imagine the space dani alves will have had in the game.......

i am thinking david silva or maybe, just maybe, diego capel..........i havent seem capel in action so much.......
i havent seen mancini in action for inter that much either, wonder if he injured? ashley young, he's done well in aston villa.....not totally convinced about him having a go at real madrid.........
certainly not aaron lennon........the last i think you guys wanna see is a headless chicken running in the bernabeu

devastated with the score......i didnt see the game and i am not watching the repeat which is showing now.......
i would just like to say, after zidane's and figo's retirement, there are no big game players apart from casillas.......look at liverpool, they have gerrard, torres, carragher, mascherano perhaps.......all of them rose to the occasion......they know what it's like to play in the big matches....
the current real madrid side, i dont think there are enough......all i can think of is casillas......no matter how much i like sergio ramos, i thought he choked.....maybe wrong, correct me if i am........you guys can name names like sneijder, guti, gago, van der vaart, higuain, pepe, marcelo, heinze.....i dont think any of them are big game players......cannavaro though a world cup winner he is, i think age is getting on to him......i think that could be the problem......though they are good players, no doubt........
seems like the best we can hope for is for florentino to come back and maybe he can bring a few big game players back to real madrid without depleting the squad reserves.......i dont think players like kaka or ronaldo or ribery will choke and not show up in games like these.......
congrats to liverpool though......scoreline really unexpected by many, unimaginable for me

imagine real madrid playing a pass and go football next season and crushing not all teams but barca...........
imagine arsene wenger as real madrid coach, with time and money to spend to build a team with that prowess......

with the diamond, 1 defensive midfielder just would not be enough i think..........unless the coach can players from wide to track back at all times...........
3 midfielders with kaka playing the top of them would sound good.........

again, barca is not the reference point at real madrid.......and no, i would not spend 70-80 million quids on one player for his first 8 minutes in games.....and on the barca - man u game, he wasnt quite there after the first 8 minutes..........good though he is, but i think silva, villa, kaka, ribery are better buys.......

kaka is not a player you would want to buy if you want flair........he is good at passing and attacking, but not the step overs........ribery would have more flair than him........and certainly ronaldo.....
i hope perez raids valencia for the 2 davids asap..........

financing your own tranfers with high prices and injecting money into a club thus inflating the market.........still the same consequence, no?
Added on June 9, 2009, 2:01 amwell then, based on youtube and your definition of flair he is a flair player..........
see it the way you would like to, but still a great signing.........no one can argue about that......

for espanyol fans: the enemy of our enemy is our ally......so no surprises there
the prime misnister and king supports barca: that makes only 2 of them, cheers to u mate
about the 60m on 4 or 5 players while real madrid paid 65m on one player and 90m on another player (cant remember the figures correctly and lazy to use quotes), can u tell me if dani alves' face sells? pique? barca bought them purely for sporting purposes......whereas real madrid spend 150m for kaka and ronaldo for both sporting and marketing purposes.........please dont be jealous of real madrid making money.....blame yourself for being incompetent.........

david villa is the one player that madrid would rue not signing.....particularly if he ends up at barcelona......that goal against the south africans, pure class
if david villa and ribery were to come, imagine the fluidity, mobility, and creativity up front........

i think real madrid would do well in letting guti off.......gago still has age on his side..........
i thought drenthe would have left for fiorentina, but in any case, drenthe could rival marcelo for a spot on the left back........both have their own attributes.....drenthe could offer more muscle
this season, i think, i certainly hope that real madrid will play better football than barca judging by the signings....so far, real madrid have bought players with mobility (benzema, ronaldo, kaka) and we could be seeing an attacking trident with so much mobility the opposition defense will have a headache........comparing this with barcelona, i think they may have choked because real madrid made good purchases.....signing zlatan and letting etoo' go just impacted their free flowing attacks in my opinion.....etoo offers so much movement, complementing messi and henry......whereas with zlatan, technically gifted he may be, i think he operates well as a target man because of his mercurial touches and he might just be a boon to barca......it remains to be seen though, but if barca had signed villa or benzema, then the whole spanish primera will have to worry about something...........
