LOL..yeah, i notice this stuff in MGS4... i like MGS2 style more as we watch the cripple enemy try to run & save their arse. Too bad in MGS2 those thing didnt happen...maybe because the Nanomachine supress the pain they taken from the bullet.

Remember Ed from Rat Patrol 01 team?...been shot in the arm but show no expression

i agree MGS2 also have Nanomachine, but is it implemented liken the one in MGS4?

in MGS4, nanomachine is controlling everything, from emotion to mind..heck even breakdown alcohol before your body can adsorb and make you drunk.
But in MGS1 & 2, nanomachine only monitor soldier condition like sugar level, heart beat etc.

as for the MGO fire-put-out-trick, it's more about style than realism. MSG is always synonym with Cardboard box and KojimaPro want to make sure you use the box as much as you use your gun.

Yes, realistically if you're on fire , the box should be burned...but where's the fun in that? and in fact, people wont use the box at all and treat it as a piece of useless crap



i pretty much like mgs go with it's own style rather than going realistic.

Big Boss was his mentor. Eventho your mentor become evil..you still respect him/her with your own way.

he maybe didnt respect Big Boss as a man, but he respect Big Boss as a Soldier. Same as how he respect Grey Fox as a Soldier and fight hand-to-hand with him int he middle of mines field in MG2:SS
