QUOTE(prelude23 @ Feb 22 2013, 10:07 PM) You're early considering orientation starts on Tues. A portion will come in this few days but most of them will come in on the foundation orientation. Yes, i thought so too. But I came with my parents, I only left my stuff in my room and I'm staying at Imperial Palace currently. I'll only start staying at my accommodation tomorrow onward, so I guess it isn't too bad, yet....You got things to eat all those? |

QUOTE(Batnam @ Nov 29 2015, 09:09 AM) Yeah it looks nice from the outside I guess but what about the inside and what is the washroom situation there? I heard that its a bit far from places to buy food and other stuff. So like you Kabata I don't know if I should apply to curtin water which I just found out that there is also Curtin 2 so what are the differences between curtin 1 and 2 and if anyone has pictures of the rooms please share Hey buddy, I lived at Curtin Water (I had the ensuite room) and I had no complaints at all. And yes, there's quite a distance between Curtin Water and DPS (where all the shops are at). By foot, it's going to take you about 5-10 minutes. Walk with a bunch of friends and you'll reach DPS before you know it.In regard to the condition of the available on-campus accommodation, Curtin Water is the victor. It's newly built, clean and comfortable. On the other hand, Curtin Villa and Curtin Village have been around since the inception of Curtin Sarawak so there's bound to be more wear-and-tear at these places. If you're the type of person who would like to sleep in and still get to class on time, Lakeside would be the best option. Nevertheless, should you really decide to go with Curtin Water, I'd say GOOD ON YOU Cheers. This post has been edited by incyann: Dec 6 2015, 09:40 PM |
