Well, Muffin, for my Koto Psylocke, it was before Koto Colossus. Since Colossus, the Kotobukiya polystone pieces seemed to have gone up in quality.

So, for my Psylocke, I had to do touch ups myself. After touch ups, she's lookin great as she should be. I also added my own scruff/scratches to the Sentinel hand base. The original was too clean. Like it came out of a Sentinel show-room. I made it battle damaged/scarred.

The costume/swimsuit lines were all wobbly. I had to line them up with Tamiya paint. The X on the sash was also not painted well. I took black paint and red to tidy it up. Of course the biggest thing was the arm pit rash the size of map. They sprayed orange paint there, but it was way too big. Covered it up with flesh paint. Lips were crooked, fixed it myself lovingly with Tamiya paint too.

I still have a lot of leftover paint unused. Nothing new for me to fix so far. ^^

Muffin, she's called Space Host. Currently, PrototypeZ is offering it as an unpainted model kit.

This model kit builder assembled and painted her after buying the kit. He made it red instead of black. She comes with an alternate "normal" arm.

I am waiting for the preassembled-prepainted PVC statue of Space Host. I think Erick mentioned that she would be made by Yamato.

Looks like there are already 2 consumers who painted their space hosts in different colour schemes. The other one is green. ^^

Mmm....Horse Face aka Beta Ray Bill. The only being who was worthy and able to lift the Mjolnir hammer, that Asgard gave Beta Ray Bill his own hammer similar to Mjolnir called Stormbreaker. He was even confused by the Asgardians at first to be Thor himself.

1/2 scale Wolverine too rich for my blood and too friggin big. I mean it's RM6000 a pop! Holee kow! ^^ Besides, I prefer fully sculpted instead of mixed media.

But it is hard for me to say no to a femme fatale like SS Babydoll.

I do not find the face of this Storm PF feminine or attractive at all.

They sold it to you with missing parts? Ask the seller to give it to you.

Added on March 6, 2012, 2:15 pmHi bros, I just want to share this.

-------------------------------------------------------
This is about PVC oily substance leaking problem.
Hot Toys had similar problems for some of their Dark Knight figures and The Comedian.
A month ago, I was checking my collection, and my Kotobukiya PVC Star Wars Jango Fett had this oily substance oozing out of the jet pack booster fires. (The fire is sculpted with PVC). Anyhow, I noticed only the bottom part which was a hard flat-round piece PVC plate. I washed the jet booster fires with soap. Dried it up, pried open the pvc plate.

Today, there's no more leaking of oily substance, from both the jet booster fire or the flate pvc plate. They look and feel normal.

So I believe, the pvc only leaks 'oil' when it was in contact with the jet booster fire sculpt. Now that both of them are seperated, each on its own is okay. Ta-da. End sharing.

Muffin, there are some people who swear they never had a problem with their pvc statues on statueforum.com.

Some had problems like I did with some figures.

EX---White out eyes and different hair. Forehead frown, angry expression. Fingers on right hand positioned differently.
Regular---Blue pupils, smoother combed back hair, more relaxed expression.

This is actually by Mark Newman.
Same guy who sculpted Bowen Marvel Girl, Jean Grey, Spider Woman, White Queen modern and classic......etc and SideShow's Vampirella PF.

It's silicone skin.
If Darth Vader had hair, they would have punched real human hair into it, as they did with their Arnold Schwarzenegger T-800 Terminator.

F-Toys StarWars Spacecrafts 1/144th scaled mini model kits(replicas) from Japan. Just got them from XL Shop and assembled them today. Had to run around town to find the Bandai Sangokuden model kit snipper and Tamiya cement to glue some parts. They are tiny models but holee seacows, they pack a lot of details, it's amazing! ^^

I started with DC Direct with their Cover Girls of DCU statues.

1)Wonder Woman: Flawless paint application
2)Zatanna: 95% flawless. 5% flaw-----the top of her hat had paint chip. REpainted myself.
3)Catwoman: 95% flawless. Silver zipper marred by black paint, so looked like broken zipper. Repainted myself.
4)Power Girl: Flawless.

So, from my experience, it's been hit and miss sometimes.
Other collectors can testify too.
Previous Adam Hughes Woman of DCU busts had lots of sloppy paint application.

As for their other pieces, like the Tim Bruckner sculpted dynamic superheroes busts from DC Direct are flawless in paint application. I've seen the Superman at Kinokuniya as well as at ShiokToys. The Wonder Woman bust....all very good.

The earlier Micheal Turner full sized Supergirl statue was also very well done. Sculpt: 100%. Paint: 100%. excellent.

For the upcoming TDKR Batman, Bane and CWoman from DC Direct, if within a good price, I'm willing to take a shot at it. It may turn out within B to A grade for me. So worth a shot. Even if it was sloppy, I'll just touch up myself. Not hard to do as most of the costume is just black. I've repaired crooked lips, pupils, chipped costume, uneven costume lines and messed up hair, as well as over sprayed skin tones myself with Tamiya paint.

This was RisingStar's Cover Girls collection.
