Look at the sweat, so real !

Seems to be the trend these days for hardcore collectors. First it was 1/6 then 1/4 then 1:1 ... from official release, they move on to customs ... it's a hunger for bigger and more.

There's a lot of hype about the next spiderman comiquette and speculations what it will look like. Here's the possible combinations ... time to get all three ?

Man, I hate it when statues are meant to displayed together like a dio ... have to spend more $$$ and worse, need to buy earlier releases at secondary market prices.

You getting all 3?

I'd prefer the X-Force dio in a 'combat' like scenario like the Xmen vs sentinel series. More dynamic. But for the price, i think its worth the $$

That custom spidey is nice ... much better than iron spidey and BIB spidey imo.

If those are the next comiquettes, I'm not feeling it ... no sizzle at all.

I believe the attraction of the series are the sexy factor.

Sadly the Dagger comiquettes face teruk.
AH's art is hard to capture in statue form.

Even all the DC Cover girl based on his art a bit cacat the face.

I saw this staue in real before. Its HUGE!!! sculpted by a company called HALIMAW in Philipine, if I'm not mistaken.

Dagger is Mark Brook's art. I don't think all AH statues are all spot on. The artpiece is designed based on the sculptured statue and not the other way round.

Romours I heard is that they are stopping AH statues for now. What a big waste isn't it. Well, hope that's not true. Not really a big fan of Mark Brook.

Those are really nice thor and spiderman customs.

As for AH statues, good and bad if they stop ... good is save $$$, bad is no more hot ladies

The sculptor/producer is from Philippines. The painter is from France. I bought a statue from them last time and it's a great sculpt.

I see. How do we buy from the sculptor or painter? Got website?

Yea, thought so....it's from HALIMAW right? but its not cheap....their statue is quite expensive. Which one you bought? Captain America?

@laowai - you can check out http://www.pinoystatueforum.net/forum/ for the works of other customizer from the Philippines. You need to register though top view the sculptors section.

@buggygil - yeah the Thor is from Halimaw. I've bought a 1/4 Jim Lee inspired Superman from them last time . Captain America is a nice sculpt but it doesn't suit my taste. I'm looking at their new work Superman vs Batman. You can check their wips in Kidtitan's thread in Statueforum.

Currently I have bought a total of 5 1/4 scale customized statues from Philippines(I'm Filipino working in Malaysia by the way ) and 5 Bowes FS statue but sadly I can only see or touch them when I go back. Will share some pictures to you guys once I go back Also Custom statues are quite expensive even for other countries since they need the edition size is very limited, some are even the same price with SideShow statues and some are more expensive.

waw...maybe you can help me get one when u r back....wanted to get some customs, but don't know how
