in regard to your Jagung terminology, I forsee ARH bankrupt in the coming years. I doubt their specialty in sculpting bare tits (male and female) can hold its own in the market.

i keep reading stories that GG was THE statue company many years ago. then due to product over saturatoin or delay they become like non existent nowadays.

eh hows your koto psylocke polystone? is it as good as the maggie show above? i recall a lot of paintjobs mishap for that one. Koto nail the Jim Lee look better than SS Jim Lee PF imo.
*
That's true, Hard Hero is closing down now....don't know who is next.
Koto Psylocke for sure has a better sculpt, I just don't like the paint.......Of all, Bowen has the best sculpt, design and paint, but size is not good.....SS is only all about size...and now they come out with 1:2 scale, I bet they are the leader in the market now....talk about the price, they had been keep on increasing the price for the statues tremendously...I don't know if this has something to do with China, but my last shipment of Rogue PF Ex. is crap!

i remember seeing pictures of Space Host @ SDCC but it was under YamatoUSA. YamatoUSA has been very quite with their Dark Fantasy line lately...
I don't think I could ever get into model kits due to

1. no skill to paint
2. cannot untrain my brain to unsee the piece on how it was suppose to be..
*
Same here!!! No confident in painting because I want my statues to look as perfect as it can be

Added on February 29, 2012, 9:20 amIs this going to be the next Sideshow PF? If yes, it's a definite must for me!

the joke is,  the Storm punk-rocer comiquette now actually looks much more appealing compare to this PF.

Agree

OMG....Check this out guys, someone post this on the Sideshow website...might be someone working with Sideshow, or the sculpture himself

"zodiac_summer says:

Love the head sculpt, including the Africanized head. Just as it should be as opposed to a white face painted with dark skin.
She looks strong and confident, like the Queen she is.
I’ll order the regular version as I’m not a fan of the deposit system

You know, there's this retired Engineer in Penang with the Toy Museum, he probably has a larger collection than this Korean dude, but he just doesn't have as nice a set-up as this Korean guy. ^^

Added on March 15, 2012, 12:00 amThe real question is.....does CW Restaurant serve Bibimbap and Kimchi Ramen? ^^
*
Yup, but then this Korean guy collects ALL, I mean ALL of Sideshow's statues, where as for the Penang kia, he have everything in it, including Barbie dolls....and some of them are donated. So not all belongs to him...but then, I respect these people for awesomeness!! Hail collectors!

walau eh last nite earthquake my room all Detolf all shaking.
*
LOL...Time to change to a more stronger shelf....I never trust detolf because I always have the feeling that my statues would go collapse and break everything.
If displaying Hot Toys figures, it is the best way to go, budget wise

Dear sifu,

I just got my kotobukiya magneto and noticed that there is a slight paint job issue. What paint should i use if i were to do it on my own?
*
If I were you, I would rather do nothing, or get a replacement from the place you bought it.
