The paint application on these fantasy figures from Yamato is indeed very good. Especially this Ritual statue you have.

If I had the SideShow Rogue PF and it came with wonky eyes, I would repaint them myself (but much to my displeasure to resort to such action considering the price of the statue).

For me, my crosshair is trained on SideShow Wonder Woman PF or comiquette.
SideShow sometimes has a habit of making one of these with a super-realistic portrait and another based on an artist's more cartoony/comic looks. If they make the PF with realistic portrait, I'll go for that and it'll be my first PF from SS.
Frankly, I'm going to concentrate on the DC offerings from SS next year onwards. I'm moving away from Marvel stuff slowly. To me , DC has a stronger girls cast with very iconic heroines like WW, Catwoman, Supergirl, Poison Ivy, Hawkgirl, PowerGirl, Huntress, Black Canary......

Luckily for me, WonderWoman is not an iconic character associated with Jim Lee, no EX Jim Lee head fiasco to deal with. ^^ Although Jim Lee is my fave, I just don't like SS making his work an EX.

You might want to approach ToyPicasso. You can find them on facebook.

They provide toys repainting and touch ups.

The guy started out painting transformers toys, and then put them up on ebay for sale and it became a hit.

Has been featured in local magazines.

The most I ever touched-up myself was my Kotobukiya Psylocke. I even lightly sanded the tip of the nose that had a "paint pimple" and repainted it lightly. Too bad I don't have experience with air-brush. Would be expensive to get one. The little jars of Tamiya colors are already very expensive to me.

Yeah, I wouldn't want the new 52 costumes for the DC girls. I'm okay as you said for the new WWoman costume with Silver and red. But Supergirl's costume is kind of weird with that red patch at the crotch.

Anyhow, seeing the teaser videos from SS, it's safe to say that they are doing classic costumes for now. Even Supergirl previewed is the Michael Turner exposed mid-riff costume, which is not too bad although not "classic."

Catwoman Legendary Scaled full size is just too rich for my blood and too big for me. But I bet it will be the creme de la creme in your collection if you do get her. ^^

Spiderwoman LSB is something I want to add to my collection too if I get the chance someday. I missed it. I love the little details they added to her costume(textures) to make it look more realistic, and the luscious lips. Almost looks like Megan Fox under the mask.

My my....I've just unpacked the Emma Frost LSB. I felt I need to be extra careful because it feels heavier than the Captain America LSB or Iron Man LSB. I suppose all the big hair on female LSBs add more weight to it.

If you mean the reclining GG Slave Leia. Yes. Paint application near perfect.
They used another model's body for the pose. Again , perfect. Very classy. But they superimposed Carrie Fisher's face on it. Carrie was pretty, but I never had the hots for Princess Leia.

These are LSBs. Unique feature: Each bust will feature one arm in a particular gesture.

Most interesting, but I wished the Mark VI bust by SideShow was not battle seasoned/damaged. I would prefer a clean polished new armour instead.

QUOTE
8.5”H x 6”W x 4”D   •  $189.99
Advance-Solicit for Oct. 2011
Sculpted by TOM & JOY SNYDER

This beautiful statue was  inspired by the incredible Red Sonja artwork of J. Scott Campbell.

Pics from http://graphicpolicy.files.wordpress.com/2...w_0162_rt16.jpg
and jscottcampbelli.info

Quite pricey for such a small sized, but craftmanship looks superb. Better than the j.s.campbell SideShow Emma Frost PF.

Yeah, Red Sonja is hawt. Bowen Design seems to cater alot to "Classic" looks, like from the 70s and earlier. Their messageboard members also seem to like "obscure" characters a lot.

anyhow, I'm passing the FF pack too. ^^ Nice but not my cup of teh-tarik.

Yes, those are very nice pics of those 2 busts.

Emma is indeed the finest bust SS has put out for their superheroine LSB series.

I hope Jean Grey or Phoenix is next. I don't mind a Storm though, or X23 or Invisible Woman. But if they do a ROGUE PF face as LSB, but get it right this time with the paintjob. I'd be ecstatic!

Imagine this as an LSB. Wow.

Looks like DCD continues to pump out new products for 2012. I thought they would slow down or unwind because SideShow has gotten a DC license themselves.

But judging from the previews of upcoming DCD products, they look spectacular. I hope the paint job will be great too.

Cover Girls of DCU pieces will now shift to focus on New 52 costumes. I know someone isn't going to be very happy about this. ^^
Slated for release are Wonder Woman, Catwoman, Poison Ivy.

Dark Knight Rises products include 6" super sculpted action figures that rival those of McFarlane Toys. The sculpt is unlike anything I've ever seen on DCD action figures, reminds me of the glory days of McF Toys.

Furthermore, The 12" statues of Dark Knight , Bane and Anne Hathaway Catwoman are quite amazing to boot too. Bane just looks like he popped out of the scene in DKR. Complementing the DKR products is a series of busts based on the movie too.
