The price is not due to the size. Mark VI is 17" and cost $500. Neytiri is 30" and cost $1600.

It's due to the 'legacy' brand and sideshow greedy

30"? that isn't very MUCH bigger than the PFs.

maybe their marketing found some segment of collectors who are reallllly into Avatar. whom I don't really want to meet irl.

The real size will be revealed on Thursday. So far, everyone guessing 1/4 scale.

Anyway, if the price is due to size alone, she has to be triple the mark vi ~ 51" !!

30" @ USD1,600. With another USD350, I think I will choose the Iron Man Mark III half-scale Maquette. If only I have that kind of money to spend.

If the edition size is super low, you can bet it will sell out fast despite price and other complaints! Lots of scalpers out there.

she looks stunning on certain angle, but if you looking at her from the front, she doesn't look that great
