Never buy the Aztech DSL 605EW wireless modem router. I bought mine from C-Zone.

I had mine replaced 3 times from C-Zone Warranty. Every time I was told I got a new unit. Of course, the C-Zone Warranty guy could be lying and given me a refurbished one.

The 4th time it failed, the warranty was a week overdue. Aztech’s products are all given 1-year warranty only and they tend to fail right after 1-year. I had another older Aztech modem that did that.

The quality of Aztech products are terrible. The reason is most probably because they already have government contracts with TMNet so they mass produce defective and low quality products to widen their profit margin.

Terrible product, terrible brand. Never buy Aztech.

Added on June 21, 2008, 7:33 amI replaced the Aztech modem with Linksys, which works well and is a better value. Linksys is a division of Cisco so their products have certain quality standards to meet.

Functionality the same. Wireless Modem Router.
Cost RM 215, just RM 15 more. Stupid Aztech modem was RM 200.

I got myself a Linksys wireless modem + router... it works like a charm.. way more better than Aztech...

enjoy it friend..

btw i got 2 3 routers on top of my cupboard and one beside my bed. all failed on me.

i duno what the heck is wrong with it........

Yes. LinkSys even has a 3 year mfg warranty period. Taking that into account, it actually costs much less than the Aztech modem. Stupid Aztech only 1 year and fail so many times.

got 600e modem, 3 year still working.. also 605er 1 month, hopefully can use till 2-3 years..

Aztech is considered a budget kind of networking equipment.

Basically what you pay is what you get.

Oh yeah, avoid it if possible. Get something more reliable even if it cost slightly more.

Almost Same Like You Buing A Car..

Some Ppl Have To Repair Few Times A Year, And Some Ppl Never Reapir For Once That Both Using Model Car
