Why Rifle Bearing?

Rifle bearing fan types offers a number of advantages against ball bearings and sleeve bearings fans.
Rifle Bearing and Ball Bearing both have a life expectance of about 50,000 hours. Sleeve bearing has a life expectance of over 20-30,000 hours.
Most people will know that Ball Bearing is noisier than Sleeve Bearing, Rifle Bearings offers the life span of ball bearings and the silent operation of Sleeve bearings. So rifle bearing provides the best noise and the best life span. It's the best from both worlds

it comes from the motor as well... the dc motor will sound loud if its lubricant dried out... normally the sound isnt comes from blade, high cfm fan sound normally comes from vibration and huge airflow hitting on radiator fins or heatsink fins...

There are at least six common principles of operation:

    * sliding bearings, usually called "bushes", "bushings", "journal bearings", "sleeve bearings", "rifle bearings", or "plain bearings"

rifle bearing is almost the same as sleeve bearing... the design is different.... or we can say it is an improvement of standard sleeve bearing....
this difference will make the bearing more durable than conventional bushing/bearing....
