Is it necessary to clear the data in the NVRAM memory after flashing to a new firmware? Thanks.

1.21 solves the DNS/DHCP problems in 1.20. To upgrade, go to Administration, followed by Upgrade. Then, select any one of the files in the archive and click Upgrade. Wait for a while and you're done.

Hmm... After flashing to Tomato RAF 1.22.8500ND, I notice that my wireless signal is quite weak. Before flashing. I set my transmit power to 50mW. Now I set to 60mW and the signal strength still doesn't match the 50mW of the stock firmware. Wonder why. Edit: Okay. I just reflash to Tomato RAF 1.22.8010. Wireless signal strength is a lot better now. This post has been edited by tps18489: Nov 29 2008, 06:07 PM

Tomato 1.23 is out!
Changelog: * Fixed remote logging didn't work if 'log internally' was disabled. * Updated - Dnsmasq 2.46, Dropbear 0.52 & Busybox 1.12.3. * DDNS now works even if WAN is disabled as long as DDNS uses an external checker or a pre-defined IP (Basic:DDNS:IP Address). * TCP Vegas (TCP congestion control) added (enable in QOS:Settings), thanks to Rodney H. * SYN cookies setting in Advanced:Firewall. * Status:Device List now shows OUI, Static IP, Add Wireless Filter links in a separate line. * Removed ebtables patch which appears to have caused various problems. * Create Backup setting & Backup Link URL in Admin:Bandwidth.

Hello Victek. I just flashed my Buffalo WHR-HP-G54 to Tomato RAF 1.23.8510 ND. I noticed that the "bridge" LED isn't lit even though I have enabled it. I used the "erase all data in NVRAM memory" after flashing my router with the new firmware.
Besides that, I find that the wireless signal strength of the ND firmware is weaker compared to non-ND firmware. Any reasons behind this?
