im new tomato user also just now flash it with my WRT54GL, my problem is i cant connect to internet, how to configure it ? im guess im right but dunno what is wrong, please guide me, tq

i try set static DNS 202.188.0.133 & 202.188.1.5 but status still 'connecting' mean still try to connect, I also search for VPI/VCI value setting but cant found it.

im also looking for ADSL Status, up stream down stream but cant find please guide me

ohhh my mistake coz im think it also modem can anyone please advise me which modem work great with WRT54GL ? im using it for torent and Qos. Now im using Riger 108. tq again

now using Riger Blue Modem 102 without problem, just curios y Qos limit but still can dload, nvm i read 1st,

u can go to Administration > Admin Access and change it there



want ask how to set Qos let say just want allowed certain IP (ip on list) to acess WAN (Internet) and certain IP (ip on list) to acess LAN (pc to pc file sharing), i try but cant. I try seting here but not work :-



also want to know how about :-
a) Outbound Rate / Limit im using 1mb 1024kb it right im set it to 1024 as value
b) Inbound Limit curios it for LAN file sharing speed or something else ?

before, i hapy with my dlink product, after see my WRT54GL + Tomato, i know my dlink only rubbish compare to linksys + tomato. thanks guys who help me, now on holiday so cant play with my 54GL, back from holiday this sunday gonna continue setting and learn about tomato.

need help 1 question, did Tomato allowed clone ip (same IP) in same network ? let say, pc1 set ip to 192.168.100 if got other comp used/manual ip same as 192.168.1.100 Tomato can block it or not ?

i can see if i set mac and ip as static when the ip/pc not using it (pc with permission) other pc or person with mac can simply enter to the ip which i allowed internet connection, so they also allowed use internet.

It have any setting to set if want enter internet connection, allowed/permission ip still have to enter password or keyfile are provide by admin? if don't, hope bro Victek can add it in next version. Hope can understand what i try to say here. tq

Added on January 16, 2010, 8:58 amnice one bro, how about downloading via Flashget at full speed ? also can get same as that ? if mine download using flashget and get full speed my ping will be 1xxx - 2xxx hehehe. That mean, when using flashget it hard for me to enter/surfing website.

yes i know that, but i see mac user can set can set their mac IP same as mac and IP which allowed internet, in the end mac user also by pass the ARP Binding

tq red, yarp i know mac add is tied, but still can change it to something else, example by http://www.technitium.com/tmac/index.html#download if mac user change more simple. Even on windows im able to scan IP in same network and can change it to which IP which got permission as set it same as ARP binding in MAC and IP. then i can use it when i know the ip (pc) with permission not on their pc.

what u mean by 802.1x ? can u explain me , that y i need some extra function/setting that if ip with permission still need enter password or keyfile provide by admin. just wish if Victek can add something like that or something better in next tomato hehehe

hi,

i got problem with my tomato victek mode v1.25***. i notice since 4-5 day crazy, i used victek mod almost 1 month and everything work greet, but pass few day i notice i problem with my internet connection. after hard reset ( to default setting) and everything back to normal but then after use 12hour or ++ then internet connection disconnect. Even i try reboot it still same, but when i try hard reset everything work great again. Any one facing this problem before or just my line/modem got problem ?

ohhh, thanks bro, clear now, i thought firmware problem, by the way, i set my router ip config to 192.168.1.1 and my modem to 192.168.1.2 , why i can access to my modem 192.168.1.2 modem and router link koz it different IP, if modem alone so no problem to access. any idea bro ?

ooo, then how can i acess to my modem if i link it with router ? any idea bro, i want check router and modem same time without unplug . tq RQ

bos i copy and paste everything but it not work for me, i check and test if access modem alone with 192.168.2.1 it work but when plug to router it cant work
