tomato user here
i flashed mine right after the router arrived at my doorstep and never regretted it

using wrt54gl with tomato 1.22 here its running fine on normal average usage but i noticed some problem with huge network load

when i am transfering file locally within my lan network (mac to pc) using an ftp server the whole thing crashes or hangs within 10min or about 5GB of transfer at full speed of 11.7MB/s

same thing happens even on my window to window machine

so its more likely issue with the router/firmware

i tried upgrading it to 1.22 speedmod version and it ran fine for about half an hour then the problem starts back again

i checked no of active connections is not more than 70
so what is the real problem here?

Added on December 31, 2008, 1:14 pmowh and yeah after upgrading the local area transfer speed dropped
only to only 1MB/s or 2 MB/s max at an average of 950Kbps

what happen earlier it was running at 11.7MBps stable
before flashing to speedmod version

why is it that when uploading at full speed or utilizing the bandwidth to the max speed the connection crashes (router is still running, still can browse website all)

but the pc i am uploading to cant be accessed, i tried it on few pc its the same thing happening

i tried with original 1.22 and 1.22 speedmod, the speedmod lasted half an hour longer before same thing happen
not enough ram?

xunlei easy la not that hard for all p2p just block the bittorent protocol there inside qos and set the class to low
u can also add custom ports google for xunlei autentication ports and block generally all port above 4k to 65535

thats what i did

hmm also can be done set by ip range and assign static ip

u can also try to use mac address if u want to
