with this tomato.. yesterday i tested at my house.
Compared to stock linksys firmware, i get occasionally high latency and poor connection. But with tomato.. it seems to be gone. I pump up to 70mw and the router doesn't becomes too hot.

i dunno why these 2 days my wifi keep dc and reconnect automatically. It's getting annoying. After reboot my router (wrt54gl v1.1 with tomato firmware) then it will be ok but after a while then come back again. And my ping is all more than 200ms but my connection shows excellent while the speed is 5.5mbps only.
ps: using vista and notebook wifi config. all set to highest
